Ok im a bit lost on the new changes, first time playing twink in a LONG time. Seems enchants, trinkets, gems etc does not work. So whats the best set up gear wise for a rogue now?

didnt really answer my question with set bonus stuff not working, gems not working etc... i get that everyone has the same hp and stats so that does answer the gem aspect. but why do enchants, set bonus items and trinkets not work?

mainly due to "equality" thing that blizz is giving all of us. some people have it, some people don't. pretty much ruins the people that do but gives some people with a handicap a chance to be the pro.

and this reason is stupid... makes twinks worthless if we put the time and effort we should get it. Locking our level was to prevent the people without the ability to get all that stuff to keep us out of the BGs/Arenas with others that dont lock levels. Why change it? it was a nice barrier from the people that either A. didnt have the gear or B. didnt want to get the gear. Made the most sense to put people that wanted to twink into their own BG group to keep the kids from crying that didnt have it. Just a stupid change.

No, their reasoning is fine. PvP should be more about skill than anything else, and this does move the game towards that ideal.

It is really boring to have no options in gearing though.

i dont agree with that at all, for the simple fact they made it fair when the made it where when we locked our level it put all those people like myself and im sure a lot of other people on these forums against people with same ideals and reasons for twinking. We were in our own league. First i was the people that didnt twink crying b/c people that did twink were in the same BG, 1. Why were your pvping instead of legit leveling via quest when bgs gave NO XP. 2. dont like it? dont que. so then they made it where BGs gave us XP and it forced us to lock our levels, which put twinks in its own BG group. Problem solved b/c now everyone is happy and no one was complaining of over powered people killing them and rolling the BG, we were put up against people of our gear level, mostly, and people that wanted to do the same things we did, twink BG/Arena. So why change that it was great, wonderful, long ques yes but still very fun and fair for everyone.
