Potential 70 twink in need of assistance!

Hey guys. I'm considering making a twink in the 70 bracket however, I have some concerns about the bracket in itself.

1. How popular is the bracket in the US? I know a lot of 70 twinks that play EU however, I don't see much 70 US twink play.

2. What US server seems to be the most popular for 70 twinks? I currently play on Illidan Horde.

3. I'm considering rolling a mage and checked the BiS gear thread however people said the OP was wrong about the BiS gear. I looked up this guys armory however and it looks like he's full BiS. Is this the case or not? Rngmonsterx @ Stormscale - Game Guide - World of Warcraft If that's not the correct gear for a Frost Mage, what would the ideal set look like?

4. How hard is it to pick up a team when you're BiS? My main realm is illidan so if I went to one of these twink servers I'd have no way of proving my arena xp to them. Is it generally easy to find a team?

I'd appreciate your help and responses.

me and rngmonsterx have been talking about his gear a lot. he keeps saying that he will use Grand Magister's Staff of Torrents - Item - World of Warcraft with 3x34 resiliencegems when he gets his Apostle of Argus - Item - World of Warcraft. this is because he is a transmogwhore, so am I. ANYWAY, with the staff he has 22% haste, 27% crit, 1500 spellpower and 450 resilience which is amazing. he's also using Superior Wizard Oil - Spell - World of Warcraft so when he's fully buffed he has around 1650 spellpower which is alot with the high resilience he already has.
