(Possible) UBRS changes

With UBRS becoming a level 100 heroic in Warlords of Draenor, it is pretty safe to assume that the current UBRS will see a great deal of change, even if the instance does retain a low level version akin to how it went for Scholomance and Scarlet Monastery.

Most importantly, loot tables will in all likelihood change and the ability to summon Lord Valthalak is probably going away entirely, so take this as a heads up to get what you need from there before it's (possibly) too late.

Items you might want to farm up - be it for transmogrification, profession completionism or vanilla nostalgia:

Luckily I already have 2x Blackblade of Shahram and 2x Felstriker \o/

That polearm Blackhand Doomsaw has an amazing model though (for transmo as well). Should keep a spare of it.

If it's possible that the gear also lowers in requirement? Else I'll get my 50 some of this junk as well.

Thinking about this it should be clear that LBRS is going to change along with UBRS.

They're currently in the same instance, there's no way Blizzard is going to leave one part of the same instance in ugly 1x1 textures, while the other part is updated. Heck if you'd fall down from UBRS to LBRS, you'll jump 5 years back in time. I don't see that happening.

The only other solution I can see if that they (finally) split the dungeon up in two different portals.

True, it would be wise to just soak up anything from LBRS as well, but that's classic Blizzard vagueness for you, only listing UBRS when they probably mean Blackrock Spire in its entirety.

I'll add a few more things to the list, but take it as inspiration because BRS is home to about 342 different rare spawns and I won't list everything :p
 
Haha! So true.

Went there yesterday and Bashguud and some other rare were there, Got that fist weapon. I jisty want the ring now, even though I'm a warrior.

One thing I can recommend is getting the Venomspitter and Crystal Fang weapon set. It can actually cast a web over raid bosses, which looks really cool.
 
Got my Blacksmithing Plans: Invulnerable Mail secured today, hopefully can get another one.

Think it'll be added to the new loot list though. I mean Stratholme and Scholomance still drop their level 57 patterns.

Better safe than sorry, the Lifestealing formula wasn't kept in new the loot tables :)
 
I got a single Blackblade since then actually, but it's been a while since I did any runs. Now I'll just wait for the beta to see if it's worth investing the time into farming a 2nd blade :)

I've had two for a long time now, I'd always get an extra, you never know when Fury can stop being utter shit.

First time I used them was when Titan Grip was introduced (again), was fun to see +450 all stats after a Bladestorm:

I gotta get that flask recipe before it changes then!

I just hope this doesn't mean the attunement for Black Wing Lair will go away... Better not...

If Black Wing Lair disappears because of this, I'm gonna be pissed. Just to be safe, It's time to farm Black Wing Lair for some T-mogs and gear.
