Incase anyone is having troubles getting the new gear available from patch, here is a tip. Before you start farming to boss, go into your dungeon journal and go to the boss you are farming. This will show you all the loot the boss drops, but for all specs. Look between the specs and see which one drops your item and the least amount of drops, thus increasing your chance of getting the item your looking for.

Example:

Was farming Deft gloves from last boss in slave pens. Was outlaw spec for 20+ runs till I realized if I went sub, the 7 items he could drop, lowered to 6 (sword drops with outlaw when boss is killed)
The handwraps dropped that run. Was coincidence or luck, regardless with this idea applied on all bosses that it changes your loot, could help a little overall

Hello mate. Just a heads up, a lot of the on hit stuff is still good, but some stuff might not be worth it anymore. Specifically heart of the wyrm trink. Only tested one BG with my 60 since patch and that one just didn’t make the cut for me. naglering is find and hand of justice is always a good call imo. I actually kinda shifted my focus to 19s for now, and deleted my 60 hunter, next will be my 60 mage I delete. I’ve found I spread myself thin so I’m only allowing myself 2 twinks in the couple of brackets I play. Can add you this evening tho if I remember to revistit this page as I already left for work

This no longer works if you are being ran through by a 110. Best option is running at least 2 60s of different Armor types (or 60s that need different drops) to increase your odds of getting good drops.

Its become actually painful to grind for things now without trying to do multiple twinks.

Hey, I also twink 19's since yesterday. Started a druid (resto) already got full fang set including gloves. If you want we can play some bg's!

An update regarding personal loot.

It appears that personal loot has been added to old raids (only tested vanilla raids). However, this personal loot does not follow the same rules as they do in dungeon regarding Loot Specialization, it drops a random item from the loot table regardless of your spec, so it could be potentially way more efficient to bring as many people as possible when farming something.
