Permanent burning rush warlock?

Most of the ones a F2P Warlock can get are 'if damaged, proc damage to the source' so kind of defeat's the meme. But in the Warlock current tree it has damage reduction/increase movement speed (Fel Armor + Fiendish Stride) and proc for more damage absorption (Demon Skin) combo.
 
A few days ago in xp on WSG, ran across a lock who was burning rush across the map. Her highest damage was to herself, by a mile. Wish I had looked closer at what was healing her, though. She got blown up quick in midfield, but looked fun to try.

I gotta admit, it's fun trying new things in 20/30's xp on BGs. Frost mage with 30% haste, Frost Bomb, so-so Snowdrift. Arcane mage with invis and Arcane Surge + Arcane Power is pretty darn fun. Curious on what's possible for fire mage with Glass Cannon.

can you show 3+ armory links with a WoD speedset? warforge is hard enough to get, WF with speed? lol

Only a handful of people are farming WoD procs right now. A month into DF I can guarantee there will be dozens of people with full proc tert sets. From what I’m hearing it’s going to be a grind but on par with farming the BoE Legion gear as far as time goes. It’s not gonna be that bad. It’s just gonna be very tedious for those who wish to gear multiple characters. Anyone who just wants one main toon BiS or close to BiS, it shouldn’t take more than a few weeks.

I also hope no one is throwing away decent blue proc cuz they arent epic... not knowing for sure how the lvl will unfold once DF launches, blue could always be almost as good as epic again and wind up not being so bad with a great double proc.

Has anyone gotten epic/tert/socket from wod? Im under the impression you can only get 2 of 3 there...
 
I am in the process of gearing up my lock. Stacking haste and vers. Using 2-piece postmaster set for extra armor. Using force of will and gossamer as trinkets. Likely using ascended vigor for extra healing (to be tested). Will be tanky AF once next patch hits.
 
I haven't found a way to benefit from getting all that damage, but shadowlands gems provide me with enough healing so I can have burning rush on all the time. Unfortunatelly only outside of BG, because the health pool increases significantly in BG. But I can move at speed of 199%, which is fun. I have to admit I was increadibly lucky to get 11 socket slots in my ilvl87 gear and I almost cannot imagine to get that many by commitment and not mostly by an accident.

a 20 with 11 sockets, holy moly.
 
gloves/boots/chest all proc epic, you must have Dwarven Bunker / War Mill in your garrison.
 
I know, but I do not think they can proc warforged+socket, legs, cloak and trinkets probably as well. These probably can proc only tertiary as a second bonus. I hope I am wrong.

Now I am wondering if really only head, neck, wrist, waist and rings can proc sockets. I have not seen any other proc socket, so the maximum of sockets seems to be 13. Just to mention, it does not heal for 133 per socket, only for first two and then 100, in total 1166 for me.

[doublepost=1671401173,1671400986][/doublepost]You are correct that only helm, neck, ring, wrist, belt can proc socket. These are supposedly the “SL” rules that all items are inheriting post DF prepatch release

The fact that you can only grind out those limited number of sockets highlights the importance of those quest pieces.

extremely jealous because my tbc quests were done (no proc) long long ago now
