WSG is an imbalanced game, without question. It is heavily favored Horde, and this shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. Since patch 6.2, fence posts have been added to each teams GY to prevent GY farming. While this could be considered a success, it has opened a door for quick access to the Horde flag room, straight from their GY....
As Horde rogue, I accept death as an advantage. An unsuccessful mid clash can in fact help me defend my flag. This GY jump allows me quick access to ramp, top of tunnel, and flag room. Such advantage provides Horde a strategically dominant position in WSG, one that has only been around for a short period of time.
The Alliance do not have the same luxury. Their fence is restrictive, while Horde is open. A ToT jump does exist, but is much slower and harder to avoid combat with. The WSG Fence Update in 6.2 has given crutch for Horde, such a major crutch that the imbalance extends even to the map itself.
