We will be releasing a patch on Wednesday October, 10 beginning at 8:30 a.m. PDT to resolve an issue that could sometimes prevent players from interacting correctly with in-game objects.
As the patch is relatively small, patching time should be minimal. See you in Pandaria!
sounds like f2p issue with interacting with pets in pet battle just a theory atm but anyone think it could be a fix for petbattles
Unlikely... key words "sometimes" and "interacting" make me think it's more along the lines of just being able to click on things. I've had this come up a lot when gathering herbs... I'll track an herb on my map, find it, make visual confirmation, and then be completely unable to interact with it. No gathering, no clicking, no nothing.
Stranger things... A quest on azure myst has you escort a night elf girl across an island of boomkins that destroyed her family, to her fisherman father Cowlen. However, Cowlen's position at the very end of a dock makes him just over the zone border into the veiled sea, whereas his daughter you're escorting stops just short of the border. Because if cross realms, one instance of the interaction is separate from the other... And when you step over to talk to Cowlen and finish the quest, the daughter disappears, Cowlen reloads, and it's as though you've done nothing.
Even stranger... I entered aArathi Basin, and I didnt have a Raid panel. Went to say something, and the BG chat was disabled, saying I wasn't in a BG. In /say, others were reporting this. Then a rogue on my own team snuck up on me... I couldn't see our stealthed units. Then I realized my map didn't display anyone's locations, or for that matter, any data at all.
Still gotta say its probably most related to the herbs I can't gather, though.
