Hola mi amigos. Recently I discovered that the Xbox One had a slashed, permanent price cut in order to compete with the PS4. This bundle includes a 500gig xbox one, minus the Kinect and an edition of either halo, or assassins creed. Topping out, with tax at around $376.92. I'm personally looking at the the bundle that comes with Halo, as that's the series I grew up playing with as a teenager, scraping together enough of my fast food jobs measly paycheck to afford.
Anyhow, I haven't bought a current gen console since the first xbox/ps2, and this sale (which is practically begging my wallet), and my boredom of pc games and wow in general has me looking to rub elbows with filthy console players. Has anyone bought this version of the xbox one console? Is it lacking in any way? Glaring issues? I heard many horror stories of red ringing 360s back in the day.
How about Destiny? It looks like a beautiful fps rpg, (created by Bungie, which, like i said earlier gave me a lovely time with halo 1 &2 ) but I've heard some nasty rumors about a chopped up story, and that most of it is locked away behind dlc. Is there some sort of year long subscription pass/ dlc included, like wow ran for MoP? I don't really want to be nickle and dimed for something that should have been included in the core game.
Anyhow, appreciate any info that sheds some light on my questions. If all that checks out, Do you guys have any suggestions for any other good xbox one games? My first love is rpg, but i dont mind a hack and slash style game, DmC for example, or God of War-esque beat em ups.
