Noob's fishing question?

As a trial account, how many fishing skills could I hit ?

I just hit 275 fishing and trained up the next tier of fishing to go all the way to 375. I am pretty sure thats as high as we can train. As far as gear goes 100 for lure, 5 for line, 40 for pole, 5 for hat not sure if you can get the food buff for fishing.

You can make captain rumseys lager and LFH gives 15 fishing, im not an expert thats all i know really

375 Basic skill + 40 + 10 + 5 + 100 + (5 or 5) = 535

Permanent:

375 base.

40 rod.

5 hat.

5 line.



Temporary:

100 lure.

10 drink.



Highest possible skill on F2P is 535.



Anyway, skill is largely irrelevant. We can catch everything we could possibly need with minimal skill.

Indeed. You're probably not going to need a fishing level that high anyways. I've successfully fished in nearly every place I've tried and haven't since ~300.

On top of my head they removed the minimum skill levels on Fishing Pools (besides Fishing skill 1+, of course) so it's rather immaterial nowadays.
