For a Holy shock pally what Gear should i use since I don't have my BOA's? I'll have them In cataclysm but I don't wanna farm them right now cause it will take a lonnng time.

Cataclysm is only a month away. I'd wait. Que times are still probably pretty crappy. Cataclysm should be merging all the battlegroups and bringing twinking back. That BoA helm and cloak look pretty sweet too.



If you simply must make a holydin now. I start with the items you know you will be keeping regardless of BoA swaps. Then it's just a matter of getting whatever quest gear fills the holes for the faction you're playing. Talbar Mantle will likely be your shoulder slot. Everything else i think depends on Faction. Sylvanas/Wrynn, etc....

if you find your survival is not good, try switching to [Outrunner's Chestguard] eagle. You lose 1 stam, 1 int, and 6 spi but the armor would help your survival more.

Take a look at the list of grandfathered items and grab em all before cata, especially

arctic buckler. Jutebraid gloves are another good thing to pick up, also any FC/ret gear

just in case you ever feel like respeccing.

I would go Arctic buckler for shield gives more armor you lose 4sta compared to deadskull but you gain 8spi which is about 2,5mp5 + you could also go tree bark jacket for some more int

I won't make a decisive BiS list, but those are the options for non BoA. Pick and mix as you see fit.



Also, Thick Bronze Necklace, Tree Bark Jacket, Crystalline Cuffs, Darkweave Breeches, Reinforced Woolen Shoulders, Lavishly Jeweled Ring and Forest Buckler are all VERY weak choices. AVOID these items. Stick to mainly armor, with a few Cloth exceptions; mainly Jutebraid Gloves and Spidersilk Boots.
