I wonder if you could ride them like a druid? The issue would be mounts, as you stated. All of the other races are bipedal. Blizzard in the past has stated they wanted to use Nagas but the issues of mounts were insurmountable.

Murlocks... Every WoW player has a love/hate relationship with Murlocks. Although we got NOTHING this expansion. They did give us the Garrisonville bone.
