Hello, I am thinking of making a F2p twink because it seems pretty fun, so I made a f2p account. Now I have no idea what server to play on and what faction, also what class. (Which is no faceroll class or underpowered class, so a little in between)

Do you guys have any tips?

If you have not read this i highly suggest you do. If your EU your destination is twisting nether or Aggramar depending on what faction you play on. Make sure you read what I linked as that will most likely answer all of your questions and if not feel free to ask anything. Happy Hunting!

But how do I get to know other level 20 twinks since we cannot join guilds nor add people to real-ID (If i'm right)

PS I play on EU

Many European players use a trick to play on Aerie Peak US. Aerie Peak US is where the F2Ps are trying to make an epicenter of F2P twinking, hence why both factions are active with both US, and EU players.

In the stickies, you can find various helpful information, like F2PAddon and how to switch to US.

F2Paddon adds every single F2P on the server using the addon to your friends, and creates a 'channel' to talk to everyone using this addon.

If you want the true F2P experience, switch to the US servers, even though I hear EU is a slightly bit more balanced in terms of class buildup.

Also, you should play the class you feel comfortable with.

But NO hunters, please and thanks. They literally ruin the bracket. Too OP.

Warlocks are pretty fun, and so are Feral druids. I'd rather go with a fun class than a majority or minority.

If you plan on making Alliance, then go to Twisting Nether and if you plan on making Horde, then go Aggramar. You've probably already guessed that if you went through the thread that Klinda mentioned above.

About the whole communication thing, the addon really helps. Make sure to download it and see what it does.

And Aerie Peak US does have many more twinks than EU servers (so far). You should try it out if you want the maximum community experience. But if that doesn't work out because of huge time difference, lagg, etc, then you're more than welcome to come to these servers. The EU servers ain't bad... Its just that AP (Aerie Peak) is a bit better.

Currently, the most OP class in the bracket is hunters. Paladins are also considered OP but they ain't as bad as hunters. Casters other than priests and mages are extremely underplayed and underpowered. These include things like Elemental Shaman, Balance Druid and Warlock. All the other classes are in the middle, what you could call "medium", not too OP, nor too underpowered.
