New Head Administrator!

I am sad to announce my resignation as Head Administrator here at Twink Info. It's been a fun ride and I've enjoyed my opportunity to serve TI as the Head Admin. But now it's time for me to move on and allow someone else to step into that role.



This decision comes after a lot of inner conflict about what I need to do with my time. It's no secret that I have not been the most active person on Twink Info and WoW as of late and I feel that Twink Info and WoW are the things I need to sacrifice moving forward. I've realized that my time needs to be spent more on my job and my family.



I said a long time ago in a thread in the Staff Section that I never wanted to get in the way of Twink Info moving forward so I could retain my authority and power (though I've seen it happen often in guilds and on other sites). I feel like retaining my Admin rank would ultimately be selfish and detrimental to the site and its community. I do not want to be "that guy" and am at peace with my decision to resign and let someone else lead Twink Info.



It certainly has been a pleasure to serve as Head Admin and to work with the entire staff here. I appreciate the opportunities that Daman has given me. I will look back on this time period with fond memories and I wish nothing but the best for Twink Info and the entire twink community.



Having said all that, I'm sure there's some questions about the future of Twink Info. Daman and I have talked about this and we both agreed on the direction Twink Info needs to go. Here's what you can expect to happen effective immediately:
  • Kore will be taking the reigns as the Head Administrator here at Twink Info! Daman and I both believe that Kore will be an effective leader moving forward and will be able to take TI to another level.
  • The direction of Twink Info remains the same. Kore and I both had similar philosophies on how to run TI and while he's a different person (and will be free to run TI how he thinks will be best), this move does not change the direction Twink Info is headed.
  • The moderation policies will remain the same. Kore played a large role in writing our current Code of Conduct and current warning system. While there may be future tweaks of these things, these things will not be changing.
  • The other staff is staying. My resignation was my decision and only my decision. All the other staff members will be staying onboard to nurture and assist the TI community.
  • Get ready for great things ahead. I truly believe great days are ahead for TI with new MMO's on the horizon and once Blizzard gets around to paying attention to us low level PvP'ers. Twink Info has been the home for all things twinking and will continue to be so going forward.

Without further ado, I'm honored to announce Kore as the new Head Administrator at Twink Info. You'll do a great job Kore!



Change is never easy, but I think the whole TI community has a lot to look forward to with Kore taking the reigns as Head Admin. Everyone please give Kore a big congrats!

Thanks a lot Inko for everything you've done as the Main admin of Twinkinfo.

And I hope you'll stay around even if you're no longer an admin, because you're truly a good person!

Ink I remember when you were a regular member with few posts. You started increasing, and always provided quality posts. You were promoted to moderator and then so soon promoted to admin. All of this is happening so fast. No matter how many times I was banned for trolling, you kindly and maturely replied to my PM and sorted the situation out. I hope that this trait is passed to Kore and he is able to take over the position with ease.

Its been great working with Ink and he's been a real asset to the community. Its a shame to see him go, but he's promised to stick his head in every now and then, so I can handle that

As Ink said, this won't bring any major changes. I'll still be running moderation in the way I have been before and I'll retain all my old duties as Head Mod, so no major changes there. You will inevitably see new changes as I see fit (maybe SWtoR forum?), but only when appropriate.

I had to make a return to TI when I heard this! Wow!



1st off Ink, thanks for all you did for Twink Info since my departure. You were the glue that kept it together. I can only hope Kore can keep the same level of prowess you provided, and I have no doubt he can if given the chance. I sincerely believe the site would have died without you during that dark period Ink. Kudos for knowing when to step away.

I didn't see any popups/ad-spam yesterday, but it's all over the place today when viewing the site before logging in. Once I logged in, the ad-spam went away. Kore, you've got your first task as head admin.
