Necrotic Wake loot now level 50?

I can't speak to NW but there is content like this. Mechagon scales from 10+ now but a bunch of stuff there is 50+ to use. The trinkets from the cache, the punchcards, various weapon drops, etc. In that case, Blizzard just didn't fix it when they lowered the level. NW would be an intentional change in the other direction. A timeline issue seems more likely.

Just started gearing my first 11 twink and can prove Necrotic still drops ilvl 30 rings.
Select SL from Chromie, skip the Maw part, then don't skip anything and do quests until you get sent to Bastion, profit.
Got another question but don't want to start new topic so i'll ask here: i see people with 3 slot Studded Girdle of Virtue, is this just a tert proc or there is some workaround with belt buckle?

You can probably skip this entirely by using the SL Wormhole toy. For example, this can get you into ZM at probably any level, certainly well below 60. Not that it does you much good. Also, if you're running a 5-man you can just queue NW directly I assume.
Just proccing sockets IIRC. Anecdotally this is extremely rare, as in I've run Underbog a ton of times and never seen it. Then again, I've also yet to see this belt drop. I've got dozens of the other one from Ghaz'an. I'm not even convinced it can drop for Warriors. Isn't it part of the Pally lIghtforged set or something? ATT seems to indicate it can drop for Warriors though.

I am also having this issue. I am running dungeons as a level 11 Warrior with my buddy. He is getting ilvl 30 items he can use and I am getting ilvl 252 items (level 50) that I cannot use. I am in sladowlands chromie time*. happs even in lfg. What do i do!?

There's a bug that appears if you fail to do the ( painfully boring ) intro questline in Oribos that takes you to Bastion.
Complete this first & then everything goes back to normal.
You must also be on SL chromie time, else wise you can't take the portal to SL at all, & the instances will all be lvl 50 req to enter.

Is it an issue that I used the two skip options in Oribos?
I entered Shadowlands though shadowlands chromie time and skipped the intro as well as skipped the talking portion. I used the table to go to bastion and got no follow up quests. I can enter the instance with no issues (level 11), but the loot (and the dungeon quest) both still give level 50 gear. Regular quests give normal gear. It's funny though because I do have some item level 30 stuff in my bags from these dungeons, so I got some items at some point.
Is there a way to fix this? I have no quests in oribos except from the innkeeper which I believe is unrelated.

Not the Maw intro, the Oribos chat with the floating coat-hanger beings.
Gotta deal with the insufferable chat-box dross & get to the point where you open the FP to Bastion.
Not having any quests is lpossibly die to you needing to go out to the Portal drop-off & talk to the guards.
This begins a little skit where they head into the first hall to the left & announce you to the 3 Coat hangers you'll have to suffer through the intro quests.
There after you shouldn't have any issues.

The second "bypass" removes this and there isn't a way that i have found to undo it...yet.
I believe that choice may affect the entire warband team, not sure but from my perspective i had 3 level 49's, 2 of which did the long drawn out part to get the FP to bastion. I did that on 2 of them:

as you can see both of them got both rings, although i'm only using 1 atm.
but starting on my 49 priest, i got the offer to skip the chatter, and bypass both the Maw and the "coathanger" dialog. Strangely enough, this was at the exact same time when warbanks had an issue.
taking both the mage and lock back to the instance, the loot you receive is in fact level 50. The priest has been given Kyrian rep steward
I dunno, it's a strange coincidence.

That is so fuckin weird man... I wish I had an answer for you, but I've never personally had this bug, only having heard of it from here on the board.
Perhaps it's time to send a ticket in & see if you can get the toons rolled back to the start of the Oribos intro.
Also: I've noticed that, after having switched chromie flavors, when returning to SL time I am offered a bread-crumb quest immediately.
Though, I'm sure you've been through all that, so... no matter.
I wish you good fortune in unfucking this peculiar dilemma.

& yeah,.... this bullshit usually takes me 20+ minuets as I get so disgusted with it that I walk away & so something else
while the souless ass-hat hangers waste their endless time talking in slow motion.
Whoever wrote this & paced it out deserves to loose a finger.

Just takes a couple hundred runs for it to proc the way you want it to

this bug got me bad, i rerolled a druid 25 times to get a cloak socket proc, finally got it went to go get ooze and rings from SL aaaaaand theyre level 50 req.... ive gotten them on lots of other toons that i didnt do the second skip on so that must be it, i wrote a ticket and the gms suggestion was to do worgen starting area quests ?.... as a troll ?... idk what he smoking but im pissed. some peeps in guild suggested the engineering wormhole generater could fix it but you cant get as f2p

Give the GM a really poor survey review for not understanding your problem and send in a response. Mark it as still having a problem and Ask it to be escalated to a more senior GM. Give actual quotes from the initial response that show that the GM has no idea wtf they’re talking about
