My review on the guild "Puritania"

Firstly I would just like to let whoever reading this KNOW this is not a flame/hatred thread this is my personal review on the gulid from my experience with being with them, i respect alot of the members but some i do not which i shall review about please do not take this in offence


Puritania the #1 US guild or is it? So like myself and many others your a 80 or a 85 twink, and your looking for a guild that does content right? so like me you saw Puritania and felt it was #1 because they have 200 members and claim to be active and #1. So a 80 twink as myself feeling in love applied and transferred, until the truth struck me within being there for 1 week, i will list some personal feedback on what people said or didn't do and PROMISED right now in "-"

-A raid was posted on the calendar nobody showed up on the time GM didn't let anyone who did show anything
-I asked for help in the guild chat with a small question Nobody Replied or even had the manners to even say there busy
-I noticed they do have many members but in all honesty not many people are active
-I did a lot of duels with guildies and i noticed "Some" Not "All" called me a scrub and a tard bitch punk because they lost,
-Not that this matters but there are alot of 13-15 year olds in the guild and immature players
-Nobody likes to help you if you need something, its all do it yourself
-Not sure how it is now but the 80 bracket (when i was there) was dumped since everyone went 85
-Alot of guild argument with people and GM doesn't do anything to resolve it, even when if a player is to have made 500 rule breaking things to the guild the GM wouldn't remove him
-Also 200 isnt a active number you have to include the number of alts per person, and inactive etc..
-Also They said they don't win-trade seems legit it's not like i was in vent with 10 alliance 10 horde sounding like there farming each other


Upon that next week, i digged up some research on the Guild master "Zezzox" heres what i found out from kargath

-Anyone i spoke with from trade (regardless if trolling) hated him and accused him of being a ninja
-Spoke with a few guildies "not involving names here" the GM made them pay gold to get a item from a certain raid "nice GM"
-I needed help with a certain something from ICC 25 heroic since i couldn't find a good group and i was asked to PAY to have it done (which i did)
-Not sure if hes still the GM but he was when i was there, doesn't log in very often or keep anyone informed about stuff, its just a dead-go thing

So this is my review on the guild i do respect alot of guildies, but majority not from what i wrote, i do hope i do not offend anyone in the guild with this but you do see this is just a review from my gameplay from being there,

So if you are looking for a guild with mature players and active players who help/talk and do content I would not advice this guild

BUT this is up to you im just informing

Also they said they are US #1 it could be true "im not god i dont know" but from what i've been through there it doesn't seem professional

I will edit this if i think of anything i have forgotten, i would love to hear some reviews from anyone who has left that guild

So right now you may be like.. Why is this guy writing this... nobody cares... hes lying hes a idiot hes raging..

Im writing it so people who need more information can know the truth

I am aware of many people who transferred and felt like a idiot paying $25 to transfer in the end

So i hope.. People you know can read this and you know try save there money or they can go experience it then come back here :p

I read that, laughed and realised that saying its a #1 in any way what so ever is bullshit.

OP, you shouldn't have to be apologetic about it. You told the story of your reality with that guild, and that's it.

Of course, those representing that guild will come up and rebutt, but that's to be expected with any situation where you go out and tell things they wouldn't want others to know.

I looked at the guild's armory myself a few days ago, and through that simple check, especially through their members, it was enough for me to decide they were not what I'd be looking for if I'd transfer my twink toon over. Suffice to say, they're no Legacy.
 
My eyes hurt from your 40+ spelling and gramatical errors.

Of course the guild roster doesn't equal the number of active members, who would even think that?

And as Marth said, a mild application of intelligence, were it available, would have prevented your unfortunate experience.

OT, though, I do feel for you and any others who find disappointment whilst searching for a gameplay family. GL in future.
 
If you want to get an idea of how many twinks are active in a guild, you can filter/sort their roster on the armory like this: 80 Twinks / 85 Twinks

It's not greatly accurate but seeing how many people haven't done anything this week will at least give you a vague idea. Looking at <Puritania>, I'd guess most of them have abandoned their 80 twinks in favour of 85s.
 
I had a suspicion this is what was going on in puritania after it disbanded its previous self.

I didn't know zezzox was that flaky though. This guild and its long line of history has derived from terrible people though. I've seen most of the big ones (no names from me).

Not all of them are bad but most.

Hope this does 2 things

1. Cleans up puritania to be a better morally fitted guild
or
2. Puritania disbands & leaves its history here
 
My friend is currently in the guild (god help him) he says that hes only seen 3-4 players on (at bad times) and 9-14 max, He also states that there are raids on the calendar but nobody sign ups

so baseically its like a boat

the GM is like JOIN JOIN JOIN JOIN but does nothing.. like grabbing all the 85s in 1 spot just to have 85s

First, let me start by letting everyone know I am not a twink. The sole purpose of this post is to shine a light onto this subject as it refers to Zezzox, the guild leader to Puritania.

First, to claim to be the #1 US twink guild may be only true if they were the ONLY twink guild in the US. Thats equivalent to be saying I am the #1 Warlock on my 10 man raiding team, only because I am the ONLY Warlock.

Second, let me inform everyone of Zezzox's history only by providing a post from fellow Kargathians that have all had the same experience with this person. This post actually follows two people that were on our server, but they were both doing the same thing and some even speculate they were in it together from the start.

Yes, this is a form of flaming and Im ok with that. However, this is also a way to make others aware of certain individuals that are not at all legit.

My personal suggestion is, Stay away from this person and anything he may be claiming. Its all under false pretenses.

Well you brought the info as is, so I can hardly see this as flaming, to be honest. The way I see it is that if there is supporting evidence that this individual is using other players for his own benefit, then I say it's a good thing we're being made aware of it. And what I've seen and read here and there about Zezzox, from various accounts, doesn't paint him in a good light at all.

Besides, we can draw our own conclusions from that ourselves. And mine is that the guy doesn't seem trustworthy at all. I may be wrong, but I doubt it.
 
I enjoy the twinking community and have done nothing wrong to hurt the players in <Puritania> or <Doesnt Like You>. Puritania is new, give it some time. <Doesnt Like You> was a great success for 80 twinking back in Cata, with 25 man raiding to rated BGS and tons of friendly active twinks. I myself was the lead for all that, I was the only active Officer while our GMs stayed inactive, we got tired of the new rules the GM established and then that made myself leave to make Puritania, of course everyone followed.

You can't argue with what has already been said, and given that entire thread linked in an earlier post I wouldn't been surprised if no one has any respect for you at all. I can't believe you'd go that low over pixels to screw your own guild, or multiple depending if you helped the other guy.
