Hi

I am new to WoW and am having a really bad experience with twinkinfo. I was asking questions and people kept saying that i'm a trollan idiot, etc. and to ignore me. I only asked 2 questions, one about choosing between a strength and defense elixer reward and another between a bastard sword, sword and mace quest reward. The people were really rude and because of this i am considering not buying it. I am sorry as I know not everyone is the same way but if this is what the f2p experience is I can imagine the p2p experience.

Sorry to hear that people have been rude to you. The unfortunate truth is that since this game has been out for so long, things that are confusing to a brand-new player may seem obvious/common sense to someone who's been playing for years. This leads to a lot of experienced players being impatient and not exactly helpful toward new players like yourself. What people tend to forget is that everyone had to learn these things at some point, and being new is not the same as being an idiot.

That being said, I'd be happy to answer some questions for you in PMs if you like, that way you can ask about stuff without getting any hate from some of the less-helpful types on here.

I'm looking at wowhead.com, and none of the weapons with the words 'bastard sword' seem remotely viable for a free to play twink. There is one called 'Darksteel Bastard Sword' but it requires you to be level 25 so that is out of the question. The next closest weapon requires you to be level 13, so you shouldn't be considering that for a free to play twink either.

I'm wondering where you asked these questions. It sounds like you asked them on twinkinfo.com, but I'm looking through your post history and all I am seeing is this 'intro' post as your only post. It's a good idea to research on wowhead.com as well, often times you can find your answer there and will save yourself from having to ask other people.

bastard sword simply means a long edged sword that was usually held in two hands

he probably meant something like that

If you had already a bad experience with Twinkinfo and you are new to WoW, you will see in-game how many players are rude and call other players "noob" with no reason in Dungeons or Battlegrounds. I played many MMORPG, even before and after WoW, and WoW got the worst in-game players community I never ever experienced.
