More Dragonflight Areas Open for Level 20s

Noticed earlier this past week, that the Emerald Dreamway engineering weekly was available, for my level 20 toon. (Caveat this may be a Veteran F2P accessible; hopefully a pure F2P can test.)

I was hmm how the heck to get there as the gateways aren't working for non-Druid?

So with the changes to mobs scaling, it seems that quests are available <= level 20. The seeds, the Superbloom and other events but the world bosses and the raid area are not scaled to level 20.

If high enough in Dragonflight Engineering knowledge in the Wormhole perk, one should have the teleport to DF Emerald Dreamway area. If using a druid you should be able to get the engineering parts in the Dreamway, and reputation with the Dreamweavers if needed for account wide access.

So I went to Zareak Caverns and it appears to be similar, mobs and events seem to be scaled to level 20 but for the dungeons,. bosses and mobs near the instances. I did get stuck on a dig as it seemed to bug out with getting the flame or frost to unlock a chest there.

While there you can use the Dreamway gateway to leave but you can not use to return, yet. And you should get access to the Grotto Netherwing Drake flying mount quest. I was surprised it was available and unlocked, even the Trial of Valor scenario part.

Anyway if more F2P and others want to explore and see if its unlocked for them, that would be helpful.

Engineering had been for a while. I ran around there, even got a couple of pets. But there was no scaling.

It must be a linked Vet than, because all mobs and quests are available for a level 20 but for the raid area. Prior to Turbulent Timeways patch, one could go there or the Caverns but the mobs were not scaled down or the quests but even for the Superbloom weren't actually working, as most of the caches are still under a higher level but the seeds now are not locked out. The random chests are available, but some items received still have the higher level lockout to use.

Now it seems more opened up for most quests with being in "recommended" Chromie time of Dragonflight.

If you did the intro for the zones before 11.2.7 you have more stuff unlocked. Even a class trial worked for unlocking the Emerald Dream.

Since then the intro quests seem locked behind doing the full DF campaign, which 20s can't advance beyond I think chapter 4 out of 7. Every character I checked since then has had the first quest to unlock the dream vanish since that patch. I think all the side questlines and rares are unlocked to farm if you did it before 11.2.7, you just need another way in since you can't use the main portal.
