MoP client - Change realm list?

Im having trouble changing my EU client to play US servers, ive changed the realmlist to reflect US servers but nothing seems to work. ive googled it and found nothing that would be helpful.

I currently do not have enough room on my laptop to download the US client to play my f2p lock, so i was wondering if anyone here had found a way to play on US servers with a EU client?.

Not sure if this is the thing not working for you, but people have reported this to function:

Go into your WTF folder and find the config.wtf, open this with a text editor. Find this lines and change it to read like this: SET locale "enUS" (or "enGB")

That's what I found on Blizz forum here. Didn't try myself.

To my knowledge, you cannot play US servers by changing the realmlist of an EU client. This has been tried a few times and Ownaque I know for sure tried this but failed.

They changed it after mop launched. I read about this(and tried it self) you should still be able to change from EU to US. I'm not 100% sure, cause I did it once for one month ago or so. But it's something about you has to change your realmlist and edit (WoW folder --> WTF --> config) Set locale "EnGB" to Set locale "EnUS".
However I'm not 100% sure if this works. good luck
