*As some of you may know, I've set up my 2nd PC with a minecraft 1.6 server on. It's currently running Bukkitcraft with Essentials and Permissions. As I've been playing on it for the last few days, I've come to cheat, getting items that would allow me to go to the Nether and explore, a place I had yet to see. When I got there, I was gladly surprised at how mean it can be to survive there, even while cheating!
*So, where is what I would like to try:
Starting up a fresh server that will not be running 24/7. It will however run at scheduled times (remember, I'm EU) and when it's up the quest is on.
*What quest? you may ask:
Not as much a quest, as a journey. A journey that will begin small and hopefully end in us having a laugh and an enjoyable experience.
We'll go from,
*Start phase where we up a camp above ground. Create a mine system hopefully with railroads to transport minerals etc. around.
*We'll gather an enormous amount of supplies in preparation for conquering the nether.
*We'll build and defend a base in the nether where we'll try to extract any possible materials available while defending ourselves from the endless amounts of attacking creates and bombing flying ghosts.
This will be done without any /give cheating, so the preparations will include diamond armor, weapons, large supplies of arrows, building materials, torches, beds and a whole lot more. A GIANT project. I found myself, using /give, having a hard time keeping anything up down there. This will be the challenge.
This might all be a laugh to you, and not worth the time, or I might have missed something regarding the nether. As said, first time down there. If this is the case for most people, I'll simply let it go.
But, at the off chance that something along the lines of 4+ people would find this something they'd be willing to invest time in I would be happy to start a new adventure with you guys.
PLEASE BE AWARE: Times online might variate quite a lot since I've got exams and so forth these days and I might be a bit busy with that. Also unless you play at odd hours it might be more appealing for Europeans than Americans (even though I do enjoy playing with Americans!).
Also people that are currently banned at Twinkinfo is not allowed on the server.
And griefing gives instant perm IP ban (unless accidental, of course.).
Simply put: Just don't try and screw people over.
The server is set up with a whitelist, so don't even think about destroying it for people.
