Hi,
Since we are having a stat squish in Midnight, I wonder how will this affect the lvl 10 (and the others of course) bracket.
My guess is that the squish will affect the whole game, but will be more impactful as the level goes up, most of us see this obvious of course.
The point is that right now, we are having a, let's say, 7p average on secondary stats per piece, plus the 2 to 2+2 stats per socket. Now, after the squish, I wonder how it will math out.
There's a possibility that low level twinks get "untouched" or almost untouched regarding stats.
Now, since the squish will be a 90% roughly of a max level character, and every number below 9 will get a <1 and decimal value; I really wonder if in the case that everyone is getting a 90% reduction in stats, it will happen evenly for low level characters due to that decimal situation; so if a piece gives 7 secondary stats, which are split in two secondary stats, we will see a reduction from "7" to "2", which is not a 90%, so twinks will have a bigger power spike due to that.
Talking about enchants, the ones that could give 1 main stat, will remain the same, not only bypassing mathematically the squish but increasing the power of the enchant, turning in a buff. Mobs, healthbars and damage will get squished too.
I wonder if this will turn the same with +2 or +4 stat enchants/gems.
More over, as with every expansion, classes are getting "tuned". In the case of the MW monk, Spinning crane kick will get buffed by 80% flat for every spec if I am not mistaken, which can turn into a meme.
What do you think about the squish? Has anybody tested it out in the beta/PTR? I'm positive that it will spice things up, but I could be mistaken.
Thanks!
