Who, what, where and why did you get into twinking?
I got into twinking when I was fairly new to the game. I had been playing WoW for a few months and never touched a battleground because I was terrible at the game. Eventually, while leveling a new alt, I decided to try one out. I was defending Farm when a twink Rogue came up and one-shot me, and all I remember is falling over and dying. I asked in BG chat what just happened, and that’s when I learned about twinks.
Right after that I logged off and made my own twink. I had no clue what I was doing, didn’t know about XP locking or any of the must-have items. I just leveled to 15, bought two Blackwater Cutlasses off the Auction House, begged an enchanter to slap some enchants on my gear, and ran back into BGs. That was my start.
Where did the name Conzil derive from? Fun backstory?!
I used to go by Coliz back in MoP when I did level 10 twinking. Later I wanted something similar when I made a new twink, and that became Conzil. That new twink ended up becoming my main twink, and eventually the name just stuck everywhere.
What is your favorite class to twink or main?! Corgi gang?!
For PvP I’d say Shaman, since that’s what I’ve mained since Legion and I’m just super comfortable with it. For PvE though, Demon Hunter all the way. If DH had been available at level 20 back when I made my F2P account, I’d probably be maining that today. The movement and jumping are just too good.
What is your favorite race and faction? NE and Belf for me
For race it’s kind of a tie between Night Elf, Gnome, and Human. My Shaman is Draenei, but that was mostly just because the options were limited. For faction it’s definitely Alliance, I don’t want to be associated with mud hut enjoyers.
Where is home for you? What country? Canadian <----

What is your favorite and least favorite expansion pack?
In terms of twinking during the expansion, my favorite was Shadowlands. It opened up a lot of new things for F2Ps, and I had so much fun playing with my friends in the Korean guild. While endgame players were miserable, us twinks were having a blast. My least favorite to twink was WoD.
If we’re talking about going back now, just to quest or farm something, then I’d say Mists of Pandaria is my favorite and Shadowlands is my least favorite.
Where are we on wired or wireless mice? I run a Logi M650. Only 2 side buttons...
100% wireless. I’ve been using a Razer Naga since Cata, and while I’ve had some with wires, I very much prefer wireless.
You a mechanical, wired, wireless or Bluetooth keyboard kind of gamer?
Mechanical for sure. I don’t really care if it’s wireless or not since I don’t move it around like I do with my mouse. The only things that matter to me are the feel and the size of the keyboard.
How many monitors you running atm? Size, make and models.
I am currently only using two. I used to have three, but I moved back in April and my current desk can only fit two. Eventually I’ll probably mount them on the wall and maybe go up to four, that has always looked fun. I’m not 100% sure on the exact model but they are Asus 24" 120 Hz.
You run a gaming chair or fancy desk setup? Forever a laptop guy here but I have a cool desk for my dual monitors.
I am using a pretty standard office chair and desk combo. I’m not a big fan of gaming chairs, I prefer office chairs.
Where do you stand on LED lights in your room?! I don't have any buuut kinda want some.
I always play in a well-lit room, and since LED lights require a dark room to stand out, I feel like they’re unnecessary. My keyboard and mouse have LED lights, but it’s nothing I really cared about when I bought them.
What rig are you running atm? Full specs plz.
Intel Core i7, 16GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070.
In PvP do you prefer BGs or Arena? Why?
I’m a big fan of BGs. I prefer playing over objectives rather than just trying to kill my opponents, especially in this one-shot meta.
Are you liking PvE atm on retail?! You seem to keep occupied with your findings...
I love PvE, there is just so much to do. If you get bored of one thing you can just do something else. That’s how hardcore and speedrunning started for me—I was just bored of achievement and mount farming.
Were you the one who found out about the old Ribbon Relic "trick"?
No, but me and my friends over at the Korean guild managed to figure it out within hours of it being found, way before it became public.
You always seem to be ahead of the curve with finding items or "bugs" in retail, do you have a team?
I’ve always been interested in how the game works. I don’t really care about gaining an advantage, to me it’s kind of a game between me and Blizzard. I just want to see how much unintended stuff I can do and access. I don’t really have an official team or anything, but there is a certain rogue who has helped me a lot. Not going to mention any names tho.
The Traveler's Log Guide thread at the site is so helpful, really enjoy the layout and format. The addon from @Brihan must of been a lot of work?
That thread is really neat. I might be a few days late to update it sometimes, but I do my best. Big shoutout to @Brihan for making the addon of course, I think he finished it in under a day or two, which is amazing.
You two seem to be always linked together in a positive manner, besty mode?
For sure, we have known each other since Legion and we’ve been on a lot of adventures together since then.
Your website https://conzil.github.io/f2p/ is a mount collectors heaven, labour of love?
Yeah, I wanted somewhere to post all Mounts, Pets, and Toys that you could get as F2P since my old mount thread vanished from XPOff (no idea how that happened, I promise xd). I decided that a website would have more functionality and it became a weekend project. Sadly, the Pet and Toy sections were never really finished, so I decided to scrap those and focus just on the mounts. I do really need to update it though, haven’t added anything since Lorewalking was added.
Are you in school atm or working full-time? Care to share?
I have finished school and I’m currently working as a junior game designer and QA tester. I’m desperately looking for a new job right now though since the company is trash.
You an only child or do you come from a big family? I have 4 sisters...
I have one older brother and always had 2–3 dogs growing up, which I count as family.
iPhone or Android phone? I run an iPhone atm but want to swap to a Samsung I think.
iPhone, but I’ve never really cared about having the latest model or anything. I think I have an iPhone 11 right now.
Favorite restaurant or type of food? I'm a pizza and Subway guy mmmhmmmm
I’m a burger fan, there are so many different styles and toppings. To me burgers have to be homemade since I haven’t been to a restaurant that beats that. For restaurants I love most sushi places.
You've been managing the Armory threads for a while now, do you still get spammed for it?
There aren’t that many applicants anymore. If you want to be on the list, chances are you already are. And most people have stopped submitting badly geared chars. Most of the submissions these days are from people making alts.
You recently got scooped up and became Mod status at XPOFF! Congrats (I think)!

I’m not 100% sure how it happened internally, but with more and more Russian spam on the website, I think the staff realized they needed some EU mod to be available when they were either asleep or at work.

For sure, I think it’s because it’s faster and more casual. You don’t have to make an entire thread to ask a question or to get an answer.
Do you play End Game at all? Are you an Arena player or PvE pusher?
No, and I haven’t played endgame since Battle for Azeroth. Back then I raided mostly Heroic but a few Mythic bosses towards the end of the tier. These days I usually level up a char and equip it with Auction House BoEs for boosting purposes, but Midnight will be the first expansion I fully skip buying.
Were you and your squad the ones who found out the method to get into MGT and other "destinations"?
Yes, that was one of our bigger finds. We had ilvl 85 gear from Mechagon sitting on our twinks for over a year before anyone else knew about it, and this was back when the average gear was around ilvl 25–28.
You have a pretty rad YouTube channel. Always enjoy the content when it pops up in my feed or I see that bell notification. How's that process?
Thanks, it’s been a while since I uploaded. I mostly upload when it’s needed, like for speedrunning for example. I’ve been thinking of making guides, but I don’t know if that’s really needed by the community. We’ll see what happens with the channel—I might make a return in Legion Remix.

It’s the same there. I was mostly streaming when doing the Hardcore F2P challenge, that seemed to be popular to watch, at least for being so extremely niche. I’ll have to make a return to streaming too.

Ehm… I think that one vanished from XPOff around the same time my old mount list vanished, not sure what happened there xd.

Thanks, I decided to “upgrade” the profile picture I had before. It used to be a very low-quality photo of Smudge the cat that I photoshopped a Lucky Fishing Hat onto. I reached out to some artists online who remade it in a cartoon style with higher quality. Having a drawn profile picture makes it way easier to turn into emojis, so I got some of those made too. They were mostly meant for personal use, but a few servers have since asked if they could use them.
