MacBook not working

After updating iTunes on my macbook and restarting it just freezes when the apple symbol and spinning wheel comes up and stays that way, I've tried starting it up in safe boot but that doesnt even work either. I'm currently living in Europe for school so no apple stores, any suggestions?

i wonder if you updated itunes for a region that conflicted with the OS. or too much eu porn. looks like you might be in the market for a new laptop friend
