EU+US Losing focus on hunters

Still only a month into lvl 19 twinking. When I sometimes go up against other hunters in BG at 19 I'll lose focus on them. Not sure if it's their pet that causes this or a skill. Hoping to better understand what's happening. Re=targeting often causes me to lose the fight. Who can shed some light?

Also what heals do we have available as hunters, pets, etc.. I also see some hunters get a little heal.

Survival hunters get a passive ability that can heal them, it doesn't heal for much, but it does heal them.

i think this is a horde only bug.

Is this a "problem" that only occurs when facing other hunters? What I can think of is:

1) You somehow misclick with your mouse when you don't intend to and drop target.
2) You play horde and your target is a Night Elf using Shadowmeld.

There is a new rare spirit beast that can be tamed by beastmaster hunters in duskwood. It has a healing ability that can be put on yourself if you choose to.

Yes, I'm horde. It's clear now why I only encounter the focus issue with some hunters... and druids.

The heals must have been a healing pet.
