Longest WSG you have ever played?

After playing what i can only describe as the funnest WSG i have every played i wonder whats the longest WSG you lads/ladies have ever played?



This game went on for 45mins with the horde up 1 0 then over the next 30 mins we managed to pull it together and score our 3 points.



Kudos to everyone who played even the low level non twinks and semi twinks were part of the fun getting involved on the full on assaults :)

mine was probably 1-1.5 hours, don't remember exactly.
 
Post 3.1: About 4 hours long. It was truly amazing. Everyone was a twink. We were so evenly matched it was ridiculous. After an hour and a half the score was 1 to 1. At 2 hours (after 30 minutes of both sides holding the flag and turtling and zergs) the horde sent all 9 at us, while all 10 of us alliance turtled. One rogue snuck away during the onslaught and killed the efc, so we capped after 2 hours 15 minutes. At 3 hours, horde capped after zerging again. 2 to 2. Right after that, we both picked it up and held for about 55 minutes. All 10 alliance (including FC) stormed horde FR and pooped all over them. So we won. I was so happy.



Downside: After the game I looked down and realized that I needed a change of clothes and a towel XD.

This ^_^ Loved 3 day long AV matches, especially when you join the next day and one of the people is still there, remember some Human warrior in a game had like 400 KB's rofl



as for my wsg...probably like 1-1.5 hours D: Games end too fast whenever I join them, /sigh

I remember a mate of mine telling me about the old school AV sounds like the best type of Battleground ever :) too bad its not like that anymore i never got to try it :'(
 
I did a 90 min WSG 2 years ago with my hunter. Was awesome and I was carrying the flag for most of the time. At that time I had played WoW for less than 2 months.



Was a nice experience.



EDIT: Don't remember the result though, but I think I lost the flag eventually.

The most funny WSG i have ever done, time just flies in a game where stuff happens all the time.

We won by 3-2 =)

And like someone above me stated, big props to all non and semi twinks that stayed for the whole game !!!
 
My longest at 19 was 2 hours and 15 minutes. At 29 my longest prepatch was 4 hours, post patch 1 hour and 5 minutes.



None of these involved turtling, just flag returns occuring roughly the same time repeatedly or very skillful flag hand offs.



They rivaled the 6+ hour AVs of old in fun if you ask me.
