Yo, so in the new patch non-dung quest blues will be ilvl 35 instead of ilvl 31 and non-dung non-world drop BoE blues will also be ilvl 35. I also have a list of really good quest greens from the new +1 ilvl greens here (it was first btw)

Can anyone confirm if they will scale up if you've already acquired them? I've been trying to test this myself without completing any quests of which have items I'll need, but its seems like some items are scaling up on the ptr, while others are not.

Saw somewhere that any geared acquired post 7.3.5 will scale up

But I can't remember where I read that and I can't vouche for it's accuracy

Yeah, apparently some single source boes from rares are on quest reward scaling, and some are on dungeon scaling. RuneChain Girdle doesn't look like it'll get a buff at all.

Yup, this is how it worked for the 39/49 stuff I checked on PTR. Quest blues you pick up now should scale after the patch, probably doesn't hurt to wait though.

https://ptr.wowhead.com/item=1927/deadmines-cleaver is scaling to ilvl 31 yet https://ptr.wowhead.com/item=1958/petrified-shinbone is ilvl 35, they both aren't dung drops so there is some inconsistency with BoEs

Zealot will be BiS for all casters that can wear swords
Wand will be BiS for all casters who can't wear swords
Mace will be BiS for all casters who can't wear swords or wands

Could mean more changes coming. I think for now though, it just says that most of the BoE drops from specific rare mobs use the same scaling formula as quest rewards.

I mean, by that logic you could take out most of the list. They're pretty close if you prefer haste.

World drop BoEs didn't change this patch, this list is about Quest items and certain BoE's that scaled lvl 29 ilvl 31 that are now ilvl 35.

Twisted Sabre and other world drop BoEs follow a different scaling system, they scale lvl 27 ilvl 35
