List of new TW Cata Dungeons?

Anyone have the list of new Time walking Cataclysm Dungeons?
If you click on your adventure guide, then click the dungeon tab, then click cataclysm, it will show each cata dungeon.
From there you can click on each dungeon, and it will show what tiers are available.

The ones with time walking loot this week are:
Blackrock Caverns
End Time
Lost City of Tol'Vir
The Stonecore
The Vortex Pinnacle
Throne of the Tides

6 solid zones and from what I understand all of the glitches from yesterday have been fixed.

Be careful though, there are a few one shot mechanics thru out some of these zones. And things seem to be taking just a hair longer to die, so grabbing 50 mobs at once is not recommended.

damn i just remembered, winter veil is starting so i wonder if we can get xmas hats from the timewalking bosses guaranteed drop as if they were heroic bosses? (Answer: yes yes they are woot :ezW: )

also, i got so excited over vitreous stone drake (stonecore) and drake of north wind (vortex pinnacle) until i realize they're lvl27 to learn ripperonis.

Yeah, I finally had the Reins of the Infinite Timereaver drop from these timewalking dungeons and not able to sell or activate on level 20. I even tried the enter AV PVP to try to activate and Blizzard covered that with "your level is still too low..." ;)

I only learned about this trick from the "Magisters Terrace at 20" thread.

What is this trick useful for? What does it work for? For Magisters Terrace I guess there's certain drops people want?

Deathcharger in Strath had a similar issue. You need to be level 17 to use it. I ended up just burning a twink and turning XP off since I'd only created the twinkt he day before so it was no great loss. But I wonder if the AV trick might've worked?

it wont. it only works for summoning out of BGs and even that only works on certain dungeons. yall missed the heyday of it by a few years.
Shame.

One problem with low level twinks is the dungeons they're excluded from. Lots have minimum level 20 or even 15. There's some socketed gear I'd like to get from Azjob-Nerub. Maybe this would work for that?

Anyway, another issue is that Shadow Labs was my go to for 2 socket boots for most classes (Leather also have the Shadowrunner's Boots from a 2 quest chain in Zangamarsh). Shadow Labs is level 20 but the quest is also minimum level 20 so probably doesn't work.

For Plate that means farming Hellfire Ramparts which is kind of annoying because the boss is bugged and will sometimes hit you for 500k+ damage... at level 11, with your ~400 health. And the trash has the same annoyances of many TBC dungeons: random stuns and casters stay at max range. Sometimes you can LOS the casters (depending on the dungeon), sometimes you can't. And sometimes mobs just won't bunch up like you'd want.

The ilvl inflation is crazy though. Back in SL, my alts would get the Shadow Labs boots at 44 or 45 because at those two levels the boots were exactly ilvl 50, which was the max for Minor Speed (now 320, as of DF) and the minimum for Speed gems (which used to be +3% and +5%, grrrrrr).

Up until the Minor Speed ilvl <=320 change, I spent a lot of time farming Nethershards from Legion Invasions and hoping to get boots that would proc a socket (and sometimes +Speed) without being Warforged (ilvl 60).

Just curiouss what you mean by "solid"?

Lost City and Stonecore are straightforward. Vortex Pinnacle puts me to sleep and I run off a ledge. The run back is super annoying. Plus I had to run it like 400 times for the mount so PTSD. End Time I find super annoying. BRC is fine I guess? Throne is an interesting one because it changed in DF when it was added to the M+ rotation IIRC. It used to be super annoying with the elevator. I still find it kinda annoying.

Fro me, the later the expansion the more annoying the dungeons. Not all but some. MoP's Shado-Pan Monastery annoys me. WoD's Grimrail Depot annoys me. Legion's Court of Stars is literally the worst.. Even the stairs with the boulders rolling down them could be annoying.

Classic TW dungeons are kinda too long but at the same time they have a lot of bosses (some optional) so if you're just gearing it's fine.

yea well, this is the 20s forums so cant really tell you about 10s and 11s, nor can i really sympathize with your plight. choosing to play low level toons means choosing to forgo access to some content. If you want more content, level up!

I love the new cata rotation because loot is dropping that I don’t already have 6 of. The rings seem pretty OP if I didn’t have mechagon rings I’d be using them for sure the trinkets seem pretty awesome. The weapons are pretty mid. I finally got a TW chest to drop.
so yeah just happy that it’s not the same set of zones that we’ve ran for like 6 of the past 8 weeks
