Heya fellow twinkers.

Since we got ability to group up from defferent realms even for outdoor actions it is a great moment to begin with epic TBC factions rep grind using:

Ethereum Prison Key - Item - World of Warcraft

No more server transfer required! :cool:
I just tried with different realm friends and we got rep on friendly npc pop.
We are 3 ppl atm who want to do this, and we are going with 700+ keys per every person in group.

So we currently looking for 2 more who want to do this and ready to bring decent amount of keys (700+). You have approx 1 month to gather/buy them.

Even if each person bring 700+ keys this may not be enough to reach all factions exalted. If you want to do so, you must be ready to obtain some more keys after we use all available. But if you wish to join just for some faction recipes thats ok as well and we can discuss it.

Hi Herberth.

We did it with 39's and it took just over 4000 keys to get all MAX exalted. Some will get maxxed much quicker than others.

You probably already realise this, but are you aware that you can get into the heroics at 55 and grind most of these reps to exalted that way?

P.S. This will be way easier to get with the new rep changes coming in, speeding it up considerably. I imagine it will take far less keys by then.
 
Thank you, mrdoobry. Your info here on ti was very helpfull for me when i just started to search info about this keys and tbc reps.

Some reps is indeed can be obtained with heroic runs. But some is not possible:

1) Keepers of Time
2) The Consortium
3) Lower City
4) The Sha'tar

those 4 can be done only with keys on lvl 60

About rep system changes by blizzard. As i know they are working on it and not decided exactly. But this may indeed speed up rep gain alot.

sounds intresting just way too small scale imo. I think you should get like all ppl who want and can grind keys and you could also sells places to party if you like to let ppl max reps and you make some cash for tier 3 :p or wait the rep gain decreases alot if in raid ?
 
Hey Renzodal.

Rep gain only works for ppl who is in the same group with key user. If you form raid and then someone will stay in another group he can roll on loot (blue and green boe drops of unfriendly mobs pop) but not get any rep on a freindly npc pop. So we need only 2 more persons at this moment. Also we are indeed looking forward to rep gain change in 5.1. But still we are working on keys and only question is how much exactly is needed to complete this. If you wish to join pls contact me ingame or put info here.
 
The rep gain is coming in, it will be here sooner than you think as the PTR is already out. By the time you wait for people to get keys it will be here. We sold our final few places too, it's nice easy gold.

Don't let that stop you trying of course, just saying it is not the end of the world if you do not succeed.

P.S. It used to be possible to get into Heroic Auchenai Crypts at level 55 for Lower City rep. I am guessing this has been changed at some point?

They upped the required level to enter the Auchindoun instances to 61-65 yep, I had to do a mix of keys and TBC Children's Week quests to reach Lower City honored on my warrior.
 
Hello everyone. I have some news for those who are interested.

-We are now waiting for 5.1 for rep gain boost.
-If you want to get this, make sure you have char on account with already maxed TBC reps, so you can get x2 rep in 5.1 on your twink.
-You can pay for spot in group with pets.

p.s. I changed server recently (yes, its all because of t3 :rolleyes:), but you can post here with your suggestions.
 
anyone been on the ptr to be sure the keys won't be nerfd or something with this reputation gain change? would suck to farm keys u won't be able to hand in =/
 
I see this post is EU.

I have lots of keys still on US.

I farmed Cenarion expedition rep up to revered on Terrorclaw mob first.

Then ive popped about 2K keys, and have only a few bars to go till exalted.

For everyone's information i have recorded exactly which mob or npc spawned each time, and i will soon post precise %s for this rep farm. I'm probably the only one who has done this so far who was anal enough about it to write down which mob spawned from each of thousands of keys.

All possible TBC reps through keys is done on my paladin at the end of 2012:

But i still have 550+ keys, so if someone need more keys to to get this done i'd like to join on one of my other 60s. Probably on rogue/warrior because they benefit the most from alchemist stone (healing potion works like LoH if crit with Alchemist stone). Not going for exalted on them, but Sha'tar revered would be nice to get that pattern.

EU only. Alliance side.

Interested in ppl with keys because no keys - no progress. Money wont help (maybe just for AH keys "farming" :))
Cmon you old toons keepers.. its good chance to get this done.
