Formal dangui doesn't work with better regen enchants than 7mp5, dunno which one you had in mind in your first post.



How am I supposed to give you feedback when I don't even know if you're going to heal or dps in PvP/PvE.
 
Why would you not get a Violet Hat or Purple Turban? They're the easiest piece (IMO) to obtain and require no enchant.



If you're going to get perfect gear for the rest of your slots why not get the closest thing to BiS that's available at all times of the year?

Ok i re-made it again because you cannot put enchants on diamond-tipped cane or at least it doesnt let you on chardev. Shamans are able to use shields at level 1 right? Can anybody tell me if they can use other weapons at level 1? I am so new and I didnt even realize how many possibilities there are. I like it:)

my level 1 shaman uses a 1h mace and a shield (blanking on the name atm)



22int on weapon

4 mana and hp5 on shield



With the regen to shield and bracers you can cast unlimited Lightning Bolts. As just DPS i'd imagine you could replace the 22int to weapon with 30sp and be doing even better. i haven't tried it, just a thought.
 
you can enchant it with some things ... just not 2h enchants

Indeed, some rudimentary maths below for a PvE shaman DPS.



Lightning Bolt costs 3 mana at level 1 with a 1.5 second cast time. In 5 seconds you're getting off 3.33 casts at a cost of 3 mana so I'll round that up to 10 mana per 5 if you're spamming Lightning Bolt. With a Haliscan enchanted with +7MP5 as your chest and Cracked Buckler with +4MP5 you'll be at full mana constantly.

I have 6 stats on my shamans Haliscan jacket and do just fine with Bracer/Shield regen enchants.



Without doing maths (too damn early) I think you're losing around 1 mana for every 3 Lightning Bolt Casts.
