Level 1 Rogue Twink gear

I have been researching on google through different sources trying to figure out an answer to my question.. I dont know if some of the info im reading is outdated.



I am trying to build a level 1 rogue twink and i see that all the information keeps pointing me toward the the Formal dangui vs Haliscan for my chest.. which is better?



The thing is, i have the Stained shadowcraft chest and i know i CANT put +6 stats on there but i CAN put +4 stats. Why wouldnt this chest with +4 stats be better then the Formal Dangui and Haliscan with +6 stats?

I have made a chart here with each chest stat offerings enchanted.. The BoA one offers 3 ap and 1 hit.. is the Haliscan really still better?



Stained Shadowcraft chest

with +4 stats calculated:



47 armor

3 attack power

1 hit

6 stamina

4 agility

4 strenght

4 intellect

4 spirit



Haliscan chest

with +6 stats calculated:



51 armor

0 attack power

0 hit

6 stamina

6 agility

6 strenght

6 intellect

6 spirit
 
The Haliscan can be enchanted with 150 health tho and the stained shadowcraft tunic can only get 100 health, if your going that route. :)

Only the Formal Dangui. But, I still think you should go with the Haliscan. If you REEEEALLY want just one hit and some ap that you can get more of from the +6 stats enchant, be my guest
 
The reason is because the item level of the formal dangui is higher than level 35. Therefore, it could accept level 35 in chants such as exceptional stats and 150 health.

[item]Haliscan Jacket[/item]



A quick link from Wowhead reveals that the Jacket also has an iLvl of higher than 35.



[item]Greater Rune of Warding[/item]

This item requires an iLvl of 60 to apply to a chest.



[item]Formal Dangui[/item] Does indeed meet this requirement
 
Does the Rune of warding stack with 6 stats?



Also, I am assuming that each time you want to have the rune you have to send it to a main who puts it on, is that correct?



Kind of off topic, but still dealing with rogue gear. What are BiS weapons? I am trying to decide if I should go with a 2.8 attack speed BoA or if I should go with the 2.4 attack speed and chance for an extra swing on the BoA Thrash Blade. Anyone know which I should go with?

Halis with +150hp

Halis with +6Stats

BoA +4stats



BoA+4stats vs

Halis +6stats





BoA= 4agi 4 str 3 ap= 11AP

Halis= 6aig 6str= 12 AP

same Stam

More armor for Halis

now its 1 Hit vs 1Ap And Crits from 2 agi

Um...it does stack with +6 stats. It's a temporary item enhancement so it does not overwrite a permanent one. It's just like adding a sharpening stone to your weapon. Making it far superior to BoA or Haliscan.



Alternatively to sending it back and forth, just get a lvl 60+ to apply it through the Do Not Trade window.
