If you are a consumable popping idiot - that's poor form. You are not good.
If you are running the intellect buff/wardrums/ etc - that's poor form. You are bad
If you are the 3rd-to 5th survival hunter and you think you are good because you can farm graveyard -that's poor form. Please get good.

Blizz took everything away from us, these last buffs/consumables are all we have to have now, gonna be poppin them till the day I die. Only agree with the surv part.

Nothing wrong with consumables my friend. Everyone has access to them. Consumables have been used since the beginning of Twinking. Now, people bitch about anything and everything even though they can just craft it. Or have someone craft it for them.

Actually, I'd say you're just lazy for not getting every edge you could get. Also, you're just crying, but I'll agree with you. Nobody is going to think you're skilled for playing a low level character against other low level characters that don't even have all their slots filled and use consumables in the process. Skilled people use consumables sometimes, sometimes they don't. The people talking trash and acting like they're good are just trolling or there's another possibility for why they do that.........they're Juggalos IRL.

i got pretty salty after a wsg yesterday too
but it had more to do with mid fighting doorknobs ignoring efc and talking shit to our fc who went 0-5 solo running
 
Funny. The way you describe comsumable users is the same way twinks have been described from the viewpoint of a leveler for over a decade. The same argument for not having speed pots (too poor) is the same reason levelers didnt use nethercleft leg armor.

Sure its frustrating, especially as a rogue, if an FC pops dash and i speed pot to keep up, only for him to speed pot afterwords... but thats the game. The only thing im not a fan of is the int buff, because it is not widely available to allies.
 
Out of all this, I agree with the GY camping (guilty, sorry) and the int buff. However other consumables such as the +8 int/agil/etc. and wellfed I feel are perfectly fine, the valentines perfumes may have been slight overkill, but they were temporary
 
last few patches have shown the liberalism of wow. Work for gear and enchants gone. Blizz is catering to the cry babies and its sick. FUck you I am going to get buffs and roll surv just to farm your liberal tears.
 
I can get more mobility playing with pots and gliders, so I won’t hesitate using them. Twinking in its current state is already boring enough with templates and survival/disc fotm, so if anything enhances my gameplay I’ll use it. Whether you like it or not.
 
I agree to some buffs and disagree to others.

60 int is bs

96(?) hp is fine

5 stat is fine

Tinctures are iffy for me, especially versatility ones.

Food buff is okay with me

I'm going to find out later to night how game breaking how I find bombs are.

Speed pots are pretty fuc ing stupid with already high mobility Druid in a low mobility bracket - the obvious "fix" is to hurpdur buy speed pots and glidurrs.

Dragon Slaying Buff is fuc ing disgusting as well. I never see it.

Holiday hp buffs are fine as long as you know your enemies are more than likely running it.
 
the 19 bracket post xp-merge has been a cesspit

the issue you highlight is not something you can fix or even slightly impact

with VERY few exceptions; when you witness people abusing consumables, they are bad players, they do not come anywhere close to high levels of map awareness, situational decision making, positioning, usually target selection, cc use, etc

using consumables /gliders/pots/drums/ weakens this skillset to quite a horrific extent - again, with VERY few player exceptions, i'd say <0.1% with confidence

if you want to play maximizing your own abilities, that's wonderful - don't use consumables - but 19 pugs are today essentially just the running of the bulls, but instead of bulls they're chimpanzees with less iq than a chimpanzee

I'm w/ you! I've been doing bgs for years, and you always hear from the, "it's not fair" whiners because they don't want to bust their asses to work for gear, enchants, and/or enhancements . I see them everyday in RBG's; trash gear, clueless in what to do, constantly getting killed...worthless pcs of poop! Right now I'm doing ally side because I like going against all those, "hordie premades" from BH, etc. Unfortunately, ally does very little premade grouping, when compared to horde. There have been times where I was able to hook-up w/ 3 or 4 solid plyrs and we were able to consistently carry the group through for a wins. I must say, I for one have been really pissed-off at blizziod over the "ilvl nonsense" in bgs. This decision definitely favored the, stupid and lazy plyrs. GO BACK TO DOING PVE AND STAY OUT OF RBG's! ALSO, AS FAR AS BLIZZIOD IS CONCERNED, TAKE YOUR "ILVL HORSE@$%^ AND STICK IT!

This thread wasn't about a courtesy to levelers - it was for known tinks.
While I didn't go about it the right way with insulting - my point stands. If you are known twink and you see opposing known twinks and your doing something lame like valentines perfume// int buff giving you massive "one shot" potential - you need to man up and get some honor.

It feels like the bracket is getting a nice resurgence lately and games have been pretty good (barring 4 surv hunters on each team) so since the balance is a problem in some aspects it's up to us to try to hash it out - especially since I think wargames will start happening soon with this activity.
For examples premades defintely shouldnt have 2+ surv hunters etc.

Some points i can agree with but the one that really grinds my gears is damage and heal heroes. They will pad their stats like there's no tomorrow. Better to hit this pet and top damage than to hit that efc who's vulnerable as he crosses mid with little protection. When they finally get around to reading bg chat they'll just tell you how much damage or heals they have done.
 
so i am paying money to play this game but also need to keep you satisfied?
 
To say that somebody lacks skill because they use a consumable's is unfair, they use consumables cause they are tryhard, and if their tryhard their usually decent and have a mild understanding of warsong.
