Lessons in Games (specifically WoW)

Shameless plug for my blog that I started recently. I'm going to be writing down as much as I can think of that I've learned over the years of playing WoW. The posts are pretty wordy, but I'd like to think at least a few people might be interested. >.>

Things I've learned:

It does not matter how skilled you are if you play a Rogue or a Hunter.

People will always dismiss you simply because you play "ezmode"

no they won't.

i know that hunters don't take much to play pretty decently, but god when i see a hunter that actually uses LoS and cooldowns very well, it is much tougher than facing a hunter that can be stopped with a single CC cast.

rogues aren't different when they are stunlocking me, but once i start moving around and using abilities on them, the good ones use their CDs to perfection while the bad ones use vanish and blind at the same time while wasting sprint to be able to gouge me. the good ones can solo me sometimes, the bad ones need a few others with them in order to have a chance to take me down.

at 19 the ones that keyboard turn are very noticeable because i can get out of their melee range with a simple change in direction.

Agreed, Druid. Even paladins, it may be hard to notice in the melee of a pug, but one who's boping people, using hand of reckoning to interrupt bandages or keep people in combat, and dispelling poisons off people makes a much bigger difference than one who just runs up to someone at random and hits judgement.

yeah, i'm always worried when a paladin DOESN'T use hammer of justice at the beginning of a fight.

My favorite: rogues who pop evasion while fighting a hunter or caster. always makes me chuckle.
