Just another 19's bracket it seems. How so? Let me explain.
Maturity level seems to be decreasing as more and more roll 24's. This 20-24 bracket used to be mainly level 20's. Now due to players coming in with 4 level advantage, full enchants, and profession bonuses that free to play don't get, the bracket just isn't as fun for players and they begin to migrate out.
Yeah, yeah its a free to play bracket blah blah blah, they should just pay for the game and join the level 24's. If it wasn't for the hard work of the free to plays earning their honor and creating games 24/7 you wouldn't have a bracket.
Graveyard farming was part of the problem that has brought in the baddies and mob mentality relying on gear and mentioned advantages over a free to play character. How, you ask? It's simple math vs the here and now farmfest mentality.
Lets say you have 5 man group or a dominant force on a faction. Do you graveyard cap for honor or do you 3 cap? 3 cap is better to get your honor. With a dominant group que or faction you can win usually in about 8 mins for about 50 honor give or take on time and honor gained. In 25 mins of a graveyard farmfest you get maybe 100 if you were there from the start. 8 min avg x 3 games at 50 honor per game is 150 honor in same amount of time or faster.
The graveyard farmfest mentality just brings in the mob mentality and more problems than it solves for the free to play and 20-24 bracket.
What is lacking on both factions is the maturity that it would take to create the thriving fun bracket it once was as the maturer players stop playing. Other brackets have bracket induced fair play rules for the benefit of the bracket and games. If the opposite faction is down xyz players, then many times you will see the other faction go to a visible spot out of play until numbers equalize. 19's have the tendency to play ONLY to win. Thus you see the afkers leave in the middle of the game cause of rage quit or whatever justified reasoning they come up with only to reque on the dominant faction atm. It even goes as far as faction swappers just to be on the dominant side. Though free to play cant faction change. Until the maturity it takes to put the bracket first, will games become more competitive.
Many that are after steamrolls and more tilted games in their favor play current overpowered classes or have gone off to play vs the free to plays as level 24s, or brackets where there is a 4 level advantage in a bracket.
