That's a pretty big squish, down from ilvl 960+ at char lvl 110 when reasonably well geared.

I don't know all that this observation may imply for twinking but if the formula is linear (anyone have a better source for whether this holds across the lower character levels?), that's roughly 2 ilvls per character level. If this holds, then we can guesstimate character level 19's near ilvl 38 baseline, char 29's at ilvl 58 baseline, 70's at ilvl 140 baseline, etc.

Thoughts?

Do we have any theories as to what items may become grandfathered across the brackets? Is there any sort of pattern that hints towards some items eventually being BiS or anything of that nature? Is it confirmed whether gear will matter in BGs? Will classes still need to wear their armor type or will my 5/5 blackened defias hunter be BiS ap again??

yeah we're all slowly becoming slaves to entertainment and technology. No biggie though, thats future me's problem.
