I was looking on wowhead for some details about a specific HFC trinket and found that the database states it can titanforge up to 775 in mythic... Can anyone confirm any unusually high titanforges for HFC? I saw a Heroic cloak drop for ilvl 730 (which i dont remember ever seeing 730 heroic drops during WoD).

If so, this could potentially be one of the most powerful items for 101. Especially with Legendary ring... At 720 it deals 124.15% stored damage (what it says in journal). I would guess at 785 (after upgrade from 775) would be around 150-160%

6.2 gear had some crazy titanforging going on when the prepatch dropped. iirc, the leech trinket from kazaak titanforged to 745 or something which was extremely nice at the time. So yeah, it's for real.

I believe this http://www.wowhead.com/item=137369/giant-ornamental-pearl&bonus=1795 warforged/titanforged could be bis for one of our trinket slots since the dmg absorbed/dealt scales with the trinkets ilvl. As a frost DK I can't use the soul capacitor, but Frost is in a very nice place after the buffs, so I'm fine with it, so much so that I'm not letting the sub expire. I think the ornamental pearl/ soul capacitor combo MIGHT be as good as it gets for pve/wpvp.
