is there a really good lazy gold farm for my 10s/11s

I've got both f2p and an active account. Is there an(y) easy gold farm(s) I can do kinda half paying attention on any of them, that's up all the time?

a 2nd related question would be like, whats the fastest way you ever hit the f2p gold cap? (aside from when warbank was accessible)

mechagon, if you active acct has unlocled it. after doing brief BFA intro, alliance can start the unlock near FP in boralus, horde not to far away from great seal FP. once you unlock mechagon nad see daily quest, you can just fly around and unlock 7 - 9 chests daily. many items vend for huge gold, covered in another thread

Some of the grey items in Mechagon vendor for >200g. Plus you can be doing the dailies for the rings. You can't get the ilvl 80 rings as a pure F2P (because the recipe costs >1k gold at max rep) but the other ones are like ilvl 72?

The alternative is to do the Motherlode and/or Theater of Pain for S2 rings that you can apply 2 sockets to but you can't get the socket item as a F2P either.

Man, when my account is not active, one of the most annoying things I have to deal with is staying UNDER the 1000g cap. Hell, I have to resort to purchasing large quantities of stackable vendor items to horde until the next time I am active and can vendor them and stash the gold in my warbank just to be able to keep looting things.

I can 1000g cap myself in less than an hour just looting greys from the Tuskar Tacklebox's and scout's packs in DF zones. Hell, a single 20 stack of the some of the greys from the Tuskar boxes are close to 1000g themselves, and some are close to 2000g per 20 stack. You need to be renown 27 or something to unlock the tackleboxes, but its super EZ gold if you do have it.

If you have a twink with spamable AOE like druid, monk, or warrior, you can use the dragonkin hyperspawn in the wetlands, there is an area between the Wetlands and Twilight highlands where those 4 legged dragonkin are fighting orcs, and they spawn very fast. Just sit in one spot with your AOE button held down and loot every few minutes.

You can also use the "Kings Gambit" quest in Zul'Dazar if you are Horde (just don't talk to Rastakhan once you start the quest, the mobs endlessly spawn and drop greens/greys/raw gold). If you haven't quested in Zul'Dazar at all, it takes maybe an hour to progress to that point, but once you do, you can just never complete that quest and use it to farm greens. Just abandon and restart as needed.

Aside from that, just playing the game like normal, or running dungeons should cap your gold pretty quick.

What is your biggest gold sink? How are you even burning through the gold you do make before you hit cap?

when I feel like taking some time off, I let my sub run out, and so i was looking for something i can just do during boring meetings at work.

So then the gold I make during that time (such as the farms you shared) replinishes the gold I spend when I eventually pick up sub time again (with gold). But so yeah I'll just take some of these methods and then bank em as elixirs/orboreal I guess.

I tried the Wetlands first,
maybe it's because im level 10 but whether im in Chromie time or not, that spot is like 5 gold an hour.
Perhaps I'm approaching it wrong.

Gonna give the king quest a try, sounds more profitable.
