US Impossible to keep a toon at L19 with a veteran acct?

Is it possible to que for random battlegrounds, on a Veteran account, while having exp locked at 19? Or are you forced to level to 20 if you want to do random battlegrounds?

Couple of days ago, my paid subscription ran out.

Today I logged onto a L19 toon, and did a couple of battlegrounds - resulting in the character being leveled to 20. This toon is still able to que up without a problem.

Then, I logged onto another L19, and thought I would lock exp to prevent this 2nd toon from hitting 20 and moving to the next bracket.

I visited Slahtz, paid my 10 gold to 'no longer gain exp', but now receive an error when trying to que - something about being unable to do that action with a starter acct.

Are veteran accounts unable to keep a character at L19? Can someone please clarify?

Veteran accounts are not allowed to XP lock. This also goes for F2P accounts. If you locked XP, you will need to unlock to queue. If it doesn't work you will need to ticket a GM until you can get it fixed.

Gotcha - so, basically forced to go to L20 in order to que bg's, unless im paying for a subscription. Thanks for the response, that's what I was wanting to know.
