EU+US iLevel versus regular gear in BGs since latest update

I wonder if something's been changed yesterday?
I took my main twink, Sapperjon, from 29 to 39 Monday and did some BGs yesterday and found that my stats were better with regular gear than the high iLvl no-stat stuff...
To be honest, I didn't really look at all my stats but my health was about 400hp better with my normal gear in the BGs than with the high-level gear
Anyone else notice this?

With the new changes to wearing non-main armor types in bg's and switching out to some invasion gear in slots, I went up 150hp from previous ilvl bis.

I gained stats switching my ilvl helm/legs for heirlooms on my 10 twink.

So like, actual gear matters more than shitty bank alt gear? Yay

i have tested this out, and found that getting rid of the mist-pierce gogles, leave necklace and rings on, all slots need to have your armor class type in each slot and you do get a bonus. i was at 8204 hp now has risen to 8596 i think.
