I have a GF 29 Rogue from TBC/WotLK era and I want to deck her out

Gypsy

Grandfathered
As title says, I have GF Rogue from 29 era back in TBC/WOTLK. Has every single gf bis item you could get back then as well as gf enchants you can no longer get. I want to deck her out with modern BiS and work out what items I have that are actually good now.

Items I currently have:
  • Parachute Cloak +12 Agil
  • Nimblefinger Cloak
  • Raptor Hunter Tunic +3 Stats
  • Armor of the Fang +5 Stats
  • Barbaric Bracers +4 Stam
  • Gallan Cuffs +12 Attack Power (think these are shit because they're cloth and have no agi now)
  • Tiger Hunter Gloves +13 Attack Power
  • Defiler's Leather Belt
  • Troll's Bane Leggings +4 Agi and +2 Crit
  • Triprunner Dungarees
  • Defiler's Leather Boots +3 Agi
  • Standard Issue Prisoner Shoes +Minor Speed
  • Harbinger Boots
  • Ring of Vigorous Interruption +1 Vers
  • D-1000 Ring +1 Vers
  • Deadman's Hand
  • Skullbreaker +Elemental Force
  • Bleeding Crescent +Mongoose
  • Torturing Poker x 2
  • Zealot Blade x 2
  • ALL BOAs excluding rings and Darkmoon trinket
Some questions,
  1. How do I itemise now? What stats do I focus on?
  2. Enchant wise, what is best?
  3. Anything else I should know?

Alright.

So first, you’re gonna want to get the +7 stats chest enchant, the +4 agi wrist enchant with quickblade BG bracers.
Then +2 vers for all rings.

Make sure you’ve got the mark of hidden satyr for neck.
~~
Head: boe pathfinder hat*
~~
Shoulders, you’ll need 34 Ilvl quicblade shoulders with the MoP enchant.
~~
Weapons wise, always use the blessing crescent in OH with ele force, then use a vibroblade in MH with landslide.

The skull breaker is also going to be BiS most consistently in MH, but you should for sure check out the Vibroblades MH proc rate.
Other weapons to get;
•2 darkwater talwar,
• daring dirk,
•black venom blade
Enchants;
•Dual ele force(very consistently good but can’t ever be insanity)
•Landslide/ele(still got some of the ele damage boost but also has the potential to grant you God mode, and the proc rate has been a lot more frequent for me. Also will boost ele force damage by a lot)
•Dancing steel/ele(same as landslide but trade off the super high AP boost for a very high up time more moderate boost)
*Ele=supercharger
* dancing steel=turbocharger
*Landslide=jet propulsion system
~~
I’d also recommend considering a 34 Ilvl boe pants with the +4 agi +2 crit.
That’s one idea you should try at least, but there are also boe +17 agility one with no other stats. Pretty sick for builds you wanna stack agi or balance out.
~~
Rings: hand is sick, but it isn’t consistently BiS.
*deadmans band could be insane against haste stacking casters like druids/mages, as well as sub rogues, fury wars and especially fists of fury.*
•Some ones to get would be a lot of the vets/crit ones, especially the +16 vers, and +11 vers, +5 crit one.
•Then at least one BG ring.
•Ring of precision is overrated IMO, since secondary stat stacking is really effective in PvP
~~
Trinkets: make sure to get the +12 stam one with the smite proc, and the +8 crit, 48 ap one(broken now but will be insane if fixed) from beer fest.

For BiS, I’ve been liking the smite proc one and the +8 crit, 32 agh ones.
Also, the defending champion.

Profession wise:————————————
Get 300 engineering, and probably the master engineer goggles for tweaking your set when you want more survibility.
~~
Alchemy has to be 300 for THE flask. It’s +11 agility, lasts 4 hours, and persists through death.***

Usable items:—————————————
•+5 damage sharpening stones, last through death and 1 hour each.*
•Saltwater potions, for anyone who you have decided WILL die.*
•Thistle Tea, can be purchased in bulk at the 110 legion dalaran rogues den.*
•Potion of Swiftness
•Goblin Gliders
•Organic Grenade

Stats wise:—-—————————————
I’ve made many sets, I’ll share a few of my fav in BFA
~~
Vers set, for 24% vers with 187 Agi, and 15% crit. All with 2.350 hp buffed.
Vers that high is almost unstoppable, but not my favorite. With you’re GFed items it might actually be unstoppable, but sets like this bore me. I’ve been able to 1v4 with it, with you, it could be more even.
~~
I have a balanced one that focuses on crt. 24% crit with 14% vers and 224 agility. All with 1910 HP. Throw in your items and you’ll be able to hit 50k damage games easy, and a few 70k+. Your crits with landslide proc and Skeletal club would be the highest in the bracket.
~~
If you want any haste, stop at 31 points, as for 29 you then have 14.5 energy regen and so gain energy at 15, which is 2 per second more than one with 0-3%.

Talent:———————————————-
For outlaw, ghostly strikes has the best DPS sims for 29, and allows for more spells and adaptability. But they are all good options.
¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥
One shot potential open:**
Cheap Shot->Saber(with proc)->ghostly->between the eyes->free pistol->saber slash
If saber slash doesn’t proc just wait to use ghostly until you have a good energy pool and ready to use combo points
*saber slash=sinister strike

That’s all. Good luck my friend, I pray I don’t fight you anytime soon :)

Other than that, you have amazing GFed gear, way more BiS than any current player could dream for.

Thanks for all the info <3

Neat toon, you definitely have a few useful items. The cloth bracers actually still provide the same attack power as the highest agility (insignia) bracers available with an agility enchant but more stamina so I personally use them.

Parachute cloak has the most agility and that enchant is no longer available so I would use that as well. Your gloves also have a grandfathered enchant which I would personally use since they provide a good deal of ap.

The rest is up to you depending on which stats you want to prioritize, like mentioned before i would use elemental force x2 on weps. I’d also use the boots and belt from the AB vendor as they have a large amount of versatility. The rest is mostly “of the quickblade” items from bg/dungeon crates or on the ah. Skullbreaker has 19 topend which is the highest available but I would see if an available agility wep offers more dmg before Id reccommend it.

Sorry if format is clunky, replied off phone at work.
