Hunter rotation macro?

As the title implies, I was wondering if somebody could come up with a survival single-target rotation macro for me as I really suck at making macros. Thanks!

Hunter rotation is: serpent sting-->explosive shot-->spam arcane shot...that's if you're trying to burst down someone. Also popping herbalism haste and rabid(70% pet haste - ferocity-only pets) add a great deal of dmg. Not sure exactly how to make a macro for that rotation, but its only 5 keys which is nothing at lv20-24 when you have so little abilities available.

Arcane shot > explosive shot > SS. AS applys mark.

Plus theres no reason to go another pet talent other than cunning. RoS > all plus pet pvp trinket (bullheaded?)

use mark ahead of time and it's: SS>explosive>spam arcane for faster unexpected burst. as for the cunning and ROS. I guess that's the case for the 20-24 bracket yeah. My hunter is 19 and all the games average about 4/3 healers per side so its all about having decent stam and maxing out burst dmg to out-nuke heals.

3 GCD's vs your 4 GCD. the choice is obvious, then again its about play style and the difference in said brackets.

Explosive also applies Hunter's Mark. If you're switching to someone you're already in range of, it should be Explosive > Serpent > Steady to have a full focus bar to dump when Explosive comes off CD again.

If you have to make a hard switch, I'd just dot before the target's marked. Spamming Arcanes while Explosive ticks is more important than a little bit of extra damage on the one or two dot ticks in that window.

Pre-mark your target if you're starting out of range.

That being said, none of this actually matters. A 24 hunter will blow something up regardless.

Roar of Sacrifice is one of the best defensive CDs in the game. It's even better in 19s than 20-24 - twinks easily break 40% crit in that bracket.

Try this:

#showtooltip
/startattack
/castsequence reset=target Arcane Shot,Explosive Shot,Serpents Sting

- each time you target something new, it will restart
- each time the rotation completes, it will restart
- space sensitive; so feel free to add, remove or change the rotation to better suit you playstyle
- the #showtooltip will display each spell's icon rather then just a red question mark

That will help. That's pretty basic and a poor example of how macros work though. I'm bad at these but remember making one for a warlock many years ago.

Toodles
