Huntards: A Legacy of Rage

Cryptekz

Legend
So, I'm queued in WSG, and enter the Flag Room, where, lo and behold, there are 6 Hunters, 2 rogues, a priest, and a druid.

We're all 20's, except one 24 hunter, who announces as soon as he gets there that "He's only here for honor." Another loudly proclaims that "I don't use my pet." The pet in question was a bear.

Eight minutes later, we're down two caps, and, surprise surprise, despite my best efforts, the other rogue gets it in his head that he wants to FC, (A subtlety rogue, no less) meanwhile a 20 Protadin is ******* up our **** all over the place, despite me telling the hunters several times to FOCUS ON THE PALLY.

The paladin grabs our flag, not surprisingly, and walks UNOPPOSED through a CROWD OF OUR FORCES, up the tunnel, and into their FR, Kills the retard FC Rogue who's screaming for help in the BG chat, kills me as I try to sap and ambush, and caps.

WHY?!?!?!?!?!?!

Why do Huntards not listen? Why do they see fit to camp mid and backpedal, and not pay attention when EFC goes ramp? Why are they so bad at giving support? What is it about them that just screams "I joined WSG just so I could drag your whole team down! =B"

Is there something I'm missing? Or do these people join just to ruin everyone elses day?

Very few people listen in BGs that I've noticed. Many of them don't even speak English. If you want people to work together, then you need to go in with people you know. A lot of people are geunuinely new to this game. Many of them have no idea what they're doing. I doubt they're doing it just to **** with you personally.

Lol. Welcome to Puggin'. Noob reads "FOTM class is easy to PvP with" so they roll said class. Unluckily for us, the combo of BG scoreboard + low skill req class = noob defending his terrible playstyle with "Hay. Im dooin gud d00d. Look at teh charrtz I'm at teh top!!!!"

To the Hunters, as usual if you are insulted by a generalization because you identify with it, don't blame me
<

Oh and by the way everyone on this forum probably fell into the noob in BGs category at one time in their WoW career. For me it was in Vanilla WoW in the 40s bracket as a Retnoob /facepalm. Worst part was people who remembered my poor performance calling me out on it and only being able to confirm my previous noobish behavior.

So don't forget that for every nubhat huntard out there, they may eventually be a great player.

Bob

Not saying they did it on purpose just to mess with me personally, Kale, I'm not that conceited.

It's just damn, noob or not, you should know when you're playing capture the flag that you DON'T let the enemy flag carrier run right past you and stand there doing nothing.

And Bob, it's not that I'm complaining about the fact that they're noobs; everyone's a noob at some point. But even when I was a WSG noob, I still managed to get a flag cap in the 10 - 19 bracket back in the days of 10 day trial accounts on my 14 Combat rogue. (That said, I think the Horde team was pretty full of noobs, too, but hey, I capped as a rogue in my first WSG, and on my first carry, so that's gotta count for something beginner's luck and pity from the enemy team)

I mean, I would hate huntards less if they didn't honor farm. I can understand someone who's still learning to use their class, albeit I've got no respect for hunters who "don't use their pets", because that's just stupid, and any hunter who claims that should either feel ashamed or just re-roll a protadin. There's just so much that they do that defies the logic of capture the flag that it's almost mind-boggling. Never mind that no one was helping our FC, they didn't even try to take out the EFC. At all. It's like having 60% of your group standing in mid Honor farming, while the other team just blazes circles around you. It's frustrating, and I think it's well since time that Blizzard Re-scaled hunter stats at lower levels to fix the issue. (Although they won't, because they're Blizzard; or to put it in other words, lazy as ****)

EDIT:

Turendil, that video made my day in so many ways.
