How to use heirlooms - free of charge!

Ok well first off, I'm not sure how many of you know this, and how many people this will apply to on here (since I know a lot of you already have max 'looms) but here goes.

This is a trick I discovered some time ago and would like to share with the community. The point of this trick is to use an honor heirloom for free while trading in JP for a PvE heirloom. In this example I'll use the Exquisite Sunderseer Mantle/Tattered Dreadmist Mantle as the heirlooms in question. Here's how it's done:

Step 1: Build up enough honor for your Exquisite Sunderseer Mantle. Once you have it, the fun begins.

Step 2: You will notice that you can resell the shoulders to a vendor within the next 2 hours. Keep in mind this is 2 hours of gameplay, so if you log and come back the next day, you'll still be able to sell them. When your resell time is running out, simply sell your shoulders and buy them again. The full refund ensures no loss.

Step 3: Begin trading in for your justice points. You will want to do this every 375 honor points to avoid hitting the cap when you sell and buyback your shoulders, wasting honor. You will also want to take note of how many justice points you will be able to attain should you sell your Mantle and trade all that honor into JP. Usually, you only need to build up around 4 or 5 trade ins of honor, then sell your shoulders and trade all that in, but don't do it too soon!

Step 4: Go directly from a Exquisite Sunderseer Mantle to your coveted Tattered Dreadmist Mantle with no time in between! Basically, this allows you to ditch your blue shoulders about 1-1.5 thousand honor sooner.

Of course, this doesn't apply if you get all your PvE heirlooms from the DMF, but if you PvP really often trying to get a piece, then this method is for you! I hope I helped at least one person out. Feel free to leave constructive advice, comments, or additions below.

Im not sure I completely understand.... are you trading a JP item to the Honor Dealer to acquire different currency?
I just did the convert honor to justice and spent the extra 1.5k honor obtaining my JP Herod Shoulders... there's a way to avoid this?

I tell you what happened to me during DMF;
I did the level each proff to 75 and do the DMF Quest for ALL and did dailies every day and acquired the Chest piece. I am NOT sure if the Champion's Deathdealer Breastplate was available in DMF or not but i acquired the chest piece in leather with HIT vice crit.(Stained Shadowcraft Tunic - I think) a fellow F2P said I got the wrong item and should return it for; Champion's Deathdealer Breastplate. I opened a GM ticket and gave a sob story of how I bought the wrong item and Please help to correct my mistake. BLIZZ did it... they removed my chest piece and "MAILED" me my new chest piece... yes mailed...
Now i reply/continue the current ticket and say it is NOT resolved... I cannot get into my mail box.
A GM pm'd me in game, asked me to log off. I did he logged on no password required, got the item from my mail and logged off.
BLIZZ states you may ONLY perform this function 1 time and make sure that you are 100% certain you want to continue.
So, maybe you buy your Honor piece open a GM ticket claim you mistakenly bought the wrong item and ask for a JP piece in replacement.... Not sure if it would work or not...
People say that GM's will NOT help a F2P account but that is just untrue... be persistent but polite.

DMF Ticket guide.
There are a total of nine Darkmoon Artifacts: five from dungeons (one of those 85 heroic-only), three from battlegrounds, and 1 from T11+ raids. Each of these artifacts starts a quest which is simply turning the item in at the Faire.

4 Dungeon Artifacts – 10 Tickets each (40)
1 Heroic Artifact – 15 Tickets
1 Raid Artifact – 10 Tickets
3 BG Artifacts – 5 Tickets each (15)
2 Primary Professions – 4 Tickets each (8*)
4 Secondary Professions – 3 Tickets each (12)
1 Test Your Strength – 10 Tickets

So the grand total for Monthly Quests (not counting the dailies) is: 110*

Didn't read it all, but from what I gather you don't understand.

What he means is, because of the sellback timer, you can buy a pvp BoA, use it for 1hour and 59 minutes, then sell it back for your honor, rebuy it, and do it again, until you have all the honor/jp needed for your JP counterpart.

Works fine if you're horde and just sit in town, but I've had the time run out on an alliance toon before being out in the world and finally getting a bg to pop.

Yeah whenever I do this, I generally sell and buyback with at least 15 minutes left on the timer. Maybe that's just me being overly cautious, but nothing sucks more than that. Sorry :(

op's tip is great, i just hope you set an alarm for the 2h and don't ragequit too often, because forgetting to sell them back would be definitive (or maybe you can get them back once if you cry in front of a gm).
