How to twink a warrior lvl 20?

Holypowah

Is a noob
Hi,

I'm relativly new to the fourms so I may make some mistakes. Recently, I have tried using my warrior in bgs. The main problem is that I couldn't do anything and always suck. How do I make a warrior better? Any suggestions?

Note that I'm fury and put Legionarie's sword in main hand and Broadaxe of the Horde in the off hand. I am currently equipping a fishing pole for fishing.

Warrior is tough at 20 - but you can dish out some tremendous damage.

I would suggest doing the quest chain that leads to Fade to Black - Quest - World of Warcraft - you'll pick up some BiS leg armor.

Your hit seems a little low. To help improve here are some great quest items.

Boots of the Hero - Item - World of Warcraft (Feet)
Bracers of the Most Trusted - Item - World of Warcraft (Wrist)

If you are keen on BoAs then take advantage of the Darkmoone Faire and BG weekends (AB and WSG).

Good luck, have fun.

**edit - warriors will improve with MoP**

protip

dont play without pocket heals as a warrior. You will get furstrated alot. My friend plays one and in pubs these healers...should just be dps or something
tired of being #1 in heal charts in 90% of bg..even the lvl 24 healers are horrible

Step 1: Create a Warrior on Aerie Peak
Step 2: Level to 20
Step 3: Do all the Quests to get BiS Pre-Dungeon/BoE/BoA
Step 4: Get all your dungeon gear by queing up as a tank to get BiS Pre-BoE/BoA
Step 5: Do 5-15 Man Aerie Peak Group ques for BGs to obtain your Honor
Step 6: Once you've obtained your honor, buy all your Honor BoA Gear
Step 7: Continue to farm honor until capped at 4000 Honor. Then Buy Justice Points at the JP Vender with your honor.
Step 8: Repeat steps 5-7 until you get all your JP BoA Gear.
Step 9: Do Arena.

mr. Cer pls come bk to carry our WSG flagz and defend our AB farm! :D
(among many other things ofc)

every time i get on, hardly anyone wants to do any bgs. I end up spamming the channel for a good 30 minutes before I get a 5man going.

That's strange, I usually find it relatively easy to get a 5 man going :)

What they (Thor, R Prime, Mrcer) said. And its really not easy to play in pugs vs 6+ hunters in enemy group, when you rarely see a good healer in your group . About making warrior better - from playstyle perspective best way to learn a class is to practice more and duels/arenas help alot.

Why I don't play when you are online ? But yes lately ppl started to play less bg games.
You'd be foolish not to play a Hunter, or Paladin in the 20 bracket
Analogy - its foolish not to play 24 level in 20-24 bracket. But ppl play what they like, so stop telling who is right and who's wrong.

It's not hard to be successful as a fury warrior, it just happens to be harder than almost everything else. I purposely target hunters when I'm in BG because they're one of the few things that pose a threat. Melee? Howl and continue running. ALWAYS peel things off your healers. They will likely remember that and keep you up.

A bad hunter can beat a glad warrior in this bracket 1vs1.

To beat a hunter 1vs1 in a BG:

Catch him off guard, get that charge off.
Apply Piercing Howl ASAP.
Get behind the hunter. He can still scattershot you at melee range but not from behind(trolol), and if he tries to disengage then at least you have a little bit of a head start by being behind him.
Be ready to pop your trinket as soon as he does his scatter shot. As long as he stays at your melee range then you're fine.]
Kill him before he can start kiting and you win. If he disengages and you manage to get him very low health w/ your rend on, then use heroic throw and start using ur ranged wep on him. If you're lucky, you might be able to get a kill off. As soon as your trinket goes down, and he gets a daze off while outside of ur melee range, it's gg for you.

However a good hunter won't lose to a better warrior. As soon as you charge him, he'll just scatter shot you, disengage, put daze up, and start winning.

An equally geared/skilled hunter will beat an equally geared/skilled warrior in any 1vs1 situation in this bracket. However that's the blessing of Battlegrounds, you gotta take advantage of being w/ another person.

A Hunter can only daze 1 person. No matter what the class is, 1 warrior + a 2nd person vs 1 hunter = a dead hunter. Unless it's 2 melee, in that case the hunter could just scatter shot 1 of u, wing clip the other person, disengage, and start kiting your sorry asses.

But what are the chances of actually fighting a hunter who can actually make use of all their abilities other than daze/scattershot/autoshoot.

EDIT: Do not underestimate the power of heroic throw. That shit can crit pretty high.

It's all about play style. You have to think about what you're doing, where your going, who's in front of you, who's running at you, who's healing you etc. You can't be play while your asleep like a hunter can. You can do a lot of damage though, I'm usually 2nd or 1st damage in WSG /flex.

Also, you don't NEED a healer to babysit you everywhere. Usually sticking with 1 other person, even if they are bad, can allow you to kill a couple bad hunters while your buddy soaks up all the damage- either that or you get your 2 enemies down to about 10% hp and then your friend kills them.
