What are the steps to make a veteran account from a Trial? I really dont know how these things work and I dont want to mess up my account.

It was just on sale too! Might still be...
If you do not have a credit card you may be able to purchase it with a Visa gift card I suppose. Blizzard also offers a gift credit.

So what you are saying is someone could not....
Create a starter account
Link it to a subbed account
Purchase the game when it is on sale on the starter on account
Have the subbed account use the starter as a RAF and send gold to the starter.
Have the starter account purchase game token

This will not work for RAF?

I don't think you can use an existing starter account for RAF, afaik a new one is created automatically when you recruit someone. Also there is no need to purchase a game token to get a veteran account, you get 30 days for free when you purchase the retail game and your account will enter veteran status once those 30 days have run out.

It's unwise to simply "pay for one month" and quit paying.
For those who don't have a bunch of heirlooms or patience leveling, a 90 boost would be smart so you can gather the gold and get shoulder/leg enchants.
Also for basic reasons, I would advise going 3-5 months tops if you truly wish to make a considerable variety of twinks, rather than just one or two, risking the chance of them being nerfed in a patch. Twinking takes time. The ones who rush it in that "1 month" probably didn't get far.

Or you can make a Hunter and never get any significant nerfs ever. :)

Also: Blizzard employee in disguise - ''You should REALLY buy the whole game and pay us LOTS of money! Blizzard is a very good company and im totally not paid to say that!''

And not get shoulder/leg enchants? Which is the point I'm trying to make?

I dont want to pay but I have to because you can't be competitive on a pure f2p anymore. I dont really mind not having 1 or 2 enchants as long as I have better gear than what I have now and I can enjoy playing on my F2P again.

You can still have competitiveness for starters (arenas, war games, some bgs). But when going vet, it's best to go all out after the decision is made.

Vets aren't made for playing unfair. They're made to keep up.

False! You can do eeet!

BG Teamwork/Coordination/Communication > Gear
