How to deal with your 10G gold limit.

Well if you've come here then you're probably rolling in more gold then you know what to do with, well you came to the right place!
But first I'll explain this thread in case you're lost and got here by mistake.

With F2P accounts you can only have up to 10G 0S 0C at any given time, no more then that. So (most) people seek out little things to pick up to keep their gold lower then 10G so they are not (in theory) losing gold, so I put together a list of things for people to spend their accumulated gold on, enjoy. :D

I'll update this as fast as I can find new things, so check back often!

I will be editing this guide and forming it more and more as I find new things, I'll also go through the guide and edit in wowhead links for all you lazy people ;)

Good post. Where did you copy/paste this from? Too bad we can't get to Northrend. I wasn't aware of the parachute, though.

Is there something worth more per stack than Eternium Thread? Already lacking bag space and all these stacks of thread aren't helping.

If you want to hoard cash with minimal bag space, then go fishing in Outland.

Steam Pump Debris is easy to get from pools and sells for 10g per stack. You can fish unmolested in the pvp area in Zangarmarsh, although some fish will aggro you from the attack (but can't attack).

However, the real winner is Goldenscale Vendorfish, which sells for 120g per stack. I have just 3 in a stack sitting in my bags and, at 18g, it is already worth 6x more than a full stack of lvl-85 cloth from the Darkmoon Island pools.
 
After awhile you run out of things to spend gold on and just forget about it. I have 4-5 stacks of thread and vended other banked things because I needed bag room. Always close to gold cap, about ready to trash my thread because I don't know what I would spend the gold on.

Yes, but if and when they raise the gold cap to 200g for trial accounts in MoP, I will be ready to pick up all of the F2P World Firsts with my stacks of Goldenscale Vendorfish. muhahahaha!
 
Im almost 100% positive the only thing they'll do to free to play accounts in MoP is make the ads for the full game more obvious to us

This isn't really a solution to Felix's problem though, since the Eternium Thread is bought with our own gold as a means to "save" the gold above the 10g cap. It's not like he can convert that ~100g into stacks of Debris (which stacks less than the Eternium Thread) or Vendorfish.

Your suggestions actually generate even MORE GOLD and take up more bag space with new items.
 
I don't understand why it's an issue as it takes all of 2-3 dungeons to get gold capped...lazy bums...
