How has 2021 been going for you?

I just wanted to check up on everybody and see how everyone's year has been going so far. I haven't seen a thread like this yet (if there was already a thread like this, sorry!) so I decided I'd make one.

Well, 2021 got off to a flying start for me.

On the 4th day of the new year I learned of the death of someone who had written to me two days earlier. He wasn't a close friend but it still had a strange effect on me. He died because of COVID.

On the video game side, I took a break from World of Warcraft. I've been playing Age of Empires 2 for a few weeks now, it was my first game and one of the best games I keep in mind.

Otherwise, I continue to share content on the WoW20 social networks. The good thing about 2021 is that last year nobody was following us on Facebook and now we have 40,000 subscribers. Which is pretty cool.

Also I just found out that we can suggest emotes on XPOff, and that's a very good thing. Maybe Conzil overdid it a bit, though.

Been going okay. My grandma died in January, which has made this year terrible. Though something good is that I've been getting almost all A's in school.

I retired this year at the prime old age of 30. Covid was honestly very good for me as it made the process of retiring that much easier.

Been going okay. My grandma died in January, which has made this year terrible. Though something good is that I've been getting almost all A's in school.

Bravo. For my part, I will always remember the day I almost gave my English teacher a heart attack. "The worst schoolwork we ever did for her," she said.

If you have good grades, keep at it. And go to the field you like the most!

so far so good. finished a few massive projects at work, looking at a substantial raise here in a couple months when my review comes around. My pets are healthy, social life is as good as it can be, looking like vaccines will go out in time for me to catch some games at the ballpark this summer. All in all, shaping up to be a good year.
