How do I get/where do I farm " alchemy recipe: swiftness potion"

Hello people :), After I got my 50k Honorable kills achieve I figured to myself "shit, im a alchemist and I don't have agility potion or swiftness potion recipes", This will be good for me seeing as rogues are losing sprint when MoP is out so ill stock up on some swiftness potions. some random dude in a dungeon said I should farm In ragefire chasm So I started. In my first run I got the alchemy recipe for "agility potion" gives me 6 agility woot. But 40 RFC runs later I havnt seen ONE swiftness potion recipe drop, I'm starting to think it only drops in SFK now...... wtf should I do people.... I want this damn swiftness potion recipe so im fully prepared for MoP and can get on with my life :( waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

But seriously, any advice or dungeons or even stories of how you got your swiftness potion recipe is appreciated.

( o yea and i forgot to mention it dropped once for me in SFK back when I didn't care about it now i regret selling it )
 
Random drop in Northern Barrens
Drops in WC, SFK and RFC.
 
kk well as i wait for dungeon ques I will kill things in northern barrens :)

It's not from Northern Barrens, it's a world drop. It just so happens that Northern Barrens contain level appropriate mobs that have both swiftness and agility on their loot tables. You can get it fishing or from chests, or any number of other things. Barrens are the only zones you can get giant growth and savory deviate delight recipes though.

I got mine from SFK and RFC. Obviously you can get them from any level appropriate mobs, zones by fishing or chests. The fastest way to get it is to be run through SFK. Multiple chests per instance that have it. Lots of easily killed mobs. If you're soloing, then RFC is pretty fast if you can queue as or with a tank.
 
Aradiel, for now (because I have no high lvls to run me) ima just Que for SFK, open all chests, skip through some mobs then leave, will I do well if I do this?
 
Kale knows his buffs... and potions... trust him. I got 2 x swiftness potion recipes. First in NB and the second in Teldrassil.

I had like 8+ Agility Potion Recipes and 2 atm in my bank. Drops anywhere BFD, DM too. You can solo DM from time to time . A good spot ( my case - 2 recipes) is first right ( in that deadend ) after the first canon.

Don't forget... WoWhead... is your best friend.
 
You can probably stealth in and get the chests without doing much, although you will have to kill the first boss. Not sure if you can solo that or not. Basically you have to kill level appropriate things. The faster you do that, the faster you'll find them. It helps if you're grinding out something else too, like pets or DMF quests or rep because it gets pretty boring otherwise.

I killed many pirates in North Barrens, for rep and the possibility of the shirt, and got my rep from hated to revered, and still no swiftness, or shirt for that matter. I did get many many giant and deviate recipes though. I was hated because I got enough Bloodsail rep so they'd stop attacking me while I fished. Like I said, no count, but probably several thousand killed.
 
kale/Thor, thanx for the advice man, You really are a F2p library lol, funny enough I play runescape and im a F2p pker (pvper) on there too lol :)

its settled, ima que for dungeons and chest farm within them, and also kill things in northern barrens whilst I wait for ques.

for those who care my runescape characters levels:
99 range
99 defence
97 constitution (hitpoints)
92 strength
50 attack
44 prayer
35 mage

= 101 combat (in progress, 99 strength, hp and mage will get it to 103 cmb)

ty for advice, I think alot of people will refer to this post from time to time and it may even progress if people post THEIR screenies on here. :).

i used to play runescape when i was 9,hurr durr in 2002.

all i remember is really horrid block graphics
