How do I get started?

Good day,

I haven't played retail since WoD.

I see the gear you guys have and I know there are mechanics in current the game I have NO IDEA about.

I looked through the guides section and didn't find (or recognize) a guide that could get me up to speed with 2025 10-11s twinking.

I have2 accounts I can fire up. I would like to get involved.

Can someone send a linkto the right guide or give a basic path forward?

I read that 3x. Tells me nothing about how to gear.

what information is it you feel you're missing? Because theres a pretty comprehensive "how to get gear" section of that guide.

Click on the gear links, make a list of the gear you want and what dungeon it comes from and which boss and start farming. I would say it is probably a little harder to start right now compared to the last 3 months of constant timewalking where you could get filler gear to make farming easy. You just have to go old school, if its a warrior your making get 2 of whatever the best weapon you can get is, slap lifestealing on them. Put green gear on in other slots. Start with the easiest to farm things and get stronger

Some things like amnesia neck are very easy to get and a good starting point
