Holy paladin + hit rating?

Hey guys,

I'm in the process of gearing up my holydin, but I'm really not sure if I should be aiming to get hit capped or not. I know I need it for exo and HoJ, but I'm not planning on exo spamming a lot, and I think I'd actually prefer the crit.

Meh, I don't really know what I'm talking about ^^

Any opinions would be great, cheers!

It rlly depends. If your mostly doing bgs your prob better of going non hit capped. If you plan on doing arenas, hit cap is crucial

I don't hit cap. I don't gear crit heavy either. My gear setup is for max survivability in BGs. My paladins armory is broken right now, but I have about 1500 health and mana, 2.1k armor, but only 13% spell crit. Gearing totally depends on what/how you play.

I'd prefer a higher survivability build tbh. I guess I should just give multiple builds a go and see what I like best. Thanks for the replies!

Can't you cap spell hit with Flying Tiger Goggles and Slippers of Unturned Loyalty? I'm pretty sure you can. If you're lucky enough to get the BOE leather hit gloves while you're leveling, you can cap melee hit too, which is nice if you're tauren (Warstomp is considered melee).

Personally I use the Boots from Silverpine and http://www.wowhead.com/item=53399 , not entirely hit-capped but close enough (have LFH). When I played her, Horde usually had multiple Healers, meaning I often ended up getting rid of Pets etc. that were on them and as others have said: missing HoJ sucks.
