US <High Fives> Recruitment, Raid Sundays @ 10 pm central

Fun idea that was done back when worgen came out by Five for Fishing, I would like to revive this level. We did a lot of testing and it has great potential.
2 manning 63 Outland mob was a sinch and we where no where near BIS
This means 70 mobs will be very possible with a 5 man group, and maybe even wrath mobs!

<High Fives> will be the sister guild of <Fun Ones> on Stormrage US.

We will schedule some kind of raid but for now I would like to see if we have some kind of interest. Likely the 6 members of <Fun Ones> will be interested as we killed a 50 elite on Sunday, and within the next few weeks we will cap out of possibility of level. We think it will be around a level 70 mob.
5s HAVE MUCH HIGHER POTENTIAL

What should I make?:
Shoot me PM with btag and don't wait on me to start your toon, unless you want some enchants, I don't mind dishing them out for an active member.
We currently need a priest, or a hunter. These will be the only 2 viable classes.
Druids, Shammys, and Paladins go oom in 5 heals.
Warriors, Rogues, and Monks fall VERY short from hunters in DPS, talking 5x less.
Mages and Warlocks miss even more than melee and are even mor useless

Overall Goal:
As stated before, try to knock out a higher level wrath of the lich king mob 75+. Who knows maybe even touch lower level cata content one day


Priests in a partial stam mostly Vers setup have 50% Vers and 1700 HP with +10 stam rum that still works. This raid will be priest tanks as they get heal aggro but this is not an issue as 70+ mobs still don't one shot my 900hp priest

Draenei has the most intellect out of all the races as Alliance on a priest. I guess it's fine, they get the racial heal, which is nice. Even though Draenei is ugly xD

This guild is a work in progress as the level 1 guild Fun Ones is coming along well, don't want to ruin our progression.

Our goal is to try to get active members for both the 1 guild and this 5 guild. Once we find out our max level we can kill in the level 1 guild, you are welcome to level to 5, or roll a new toon.
After that is accomplished we will start raiding our 5s
In the mean time feel free to join us for fishing on sundays for your level 5 as LFH will be a must

Our goal is a lvl 70ish mob for the 1 guild and 80ish mob for the 5s

P sure nelf priest would be the best for tanking which is what im rolling, one you run out of mana smeld and drink. Draenei priest could be decent for supporting main tanks and worgen priests are completely useless

I think smels drops combat but the second you break smeld the boss will be back on you. We can test though. Otherwise yes, this is all true. Also dwarf priest might be considered useful but with Draenei having heal and more mana, that will be the goto

Worgen priest will be quite useful to be honost, once that concussive hits, he can pop racial and head for the hills. Letting our other priests take a breather from spamming. Also the worgen priest that ran can bandage to full instead of wasting mana

10 PM this Sunday will be the raid

We will start in Hellfire Penninsula and attempt one of the eliete rock giants that frack into mini mobs, in the northwest corner of map.
This should give us a nice challange for our first encounter.
If all goes well, we could venture over to nagrand and attempt mini gruul who circles around the giant crystal on the west side of map.
Open to any suggestions. I want the 1st raid to be fun, yet challenging.
Our group makeup so far is 2-3 priests 2-3 hunts.

So, I am about 4 away from having my first AGM. Will def* have it for RAID. Hopefully I can grab LFH on Sunday and I will be near BiS (Minus 1 AGM & Garrison Loom Ring).
It might be worthwhile for our Priests to have several CCF's on hand for an instant heal even at 1800HP. MAybe SB's as well?

Also, for buffs I am probably going to go with:
Boiled Clams (+4 Stam & Vers) or Rumsey Rum Dark (+10 Stam) - Food Buff
(I don't know if another 6 stam from Rum is better than the +4 vers from Clams?)
Elixer of Minor Fortitude - Guardian Elixer (+94 HP)
Scroll of Versatility - Battle Elixer (+3 Vers)
Minor Wizard Oil (+1 Int)
If I do go with Boiled Clams, it pushes my Vers to 59%. when weap procs (every 10-15 heals) this goes well over 100, which means I might be able to adjust for less vers / more stam somewhere. I might be able to lose the +3 Vers Neck Chant and get Mark of Priestess (extra healing)?

Still practicing the whole Heal Agro Tank thing. It is difficult not to go OOM after a while. Picked up some Mana Pots but If the battle goes too long it might not be enough. could always SM and eat while second priest takes agro.

Last I checked, I couldn't charge my crystal focus since the new looting system (can't loot higher lvls)

Mother's Skinning Knife actually generates aggro if you skin successfully. Might be something to play around with to switch aggro off healers

You can still acquire the Apexis Shards from the Crystals that spawn around the area and low levels can still loot the Simon Says Mobs. We did this just a few weeks ago on LVL 1's.
