On which realm are you boosting ? Because i have some toons that clearly need thoses trinket but the realm is pretty full of mains who did it every sunday...
 
That is very generous of you, but it is unnecessary with how easy it is to obtain this trinket now adays. All one needs to do is pick their favorite fishing spot, and level fishing to 525 to use the anglers raft. Set hearth to B.B. like usual, and it should be very easily won.

This could very well be helpful to those without the raft. Regardless, happy fishing!

Don't you need rep to use the raft?
 
Only to buy it. Since it is a toy, your main can purchase it and it is then usable on all toons with 525+ fishing.
 
the tournament is also bugged as i am sure most of you know since the tournament stops once the first person turns in, but it starts up again around 30 min or so later. and it keeps doing this until the whole thing is over.

really ? I've fished up for 2 hours and nothing that you describe happened.

it works for me on a number of servers along with other twinks fishing by me. once riggle yells that it is over the quest goes away and you get a blank where there should be a tastyfish while fishing, but around 30 min or so later the whole quest comes up again and you are able to catch them again. It also keeps the amount you had caught the first go around. I found this out when fishing for LFH.

I don't know where you pull this from because, the tournament is over after they have 3 players releasing their fishes, not only one. I've done it on only one realm, maybe you are on realms that are so lost that the second and the third winner are so far behind the first one. Also my data is from last sunday, when did you try that for the last time ?

I did not stay around to see if it was repeating because I ended up being the first winner, but right as i turned in riggle announced it as over, which suggest that it is still bugged, considering i was first to turn in. I have it on most of my champs as you can see. Also it is not just me saying this, there are others on this site who have found this out...e.g

"There is a glitch ive found. Start tournament on time and catch as many fish as you can. Once someone wins. Log off for 1 hour. DO NOT log back in until 1 hour. The tournament restarts and you still have your 24-34 fish. Finish catching 40 and hand in. I’ve done this on three straight toons including last Sunday . i believe to get the raft you need to be best friends with nat pagle, i remember grinding on my 85 to get my lute to 2/2. mightve changed since that was years ago now lol
 
Instead of starting a new thread I'll ask here first... How many winners are there, 50 I think? All realms or are they broken up?
I did one tourney a few weeks ago and got the trinket, last time was 4 years ago, was broken for awhile.

As I have been working this glitch steadily since last July, I can confirm Pericles statement, except for
1) the 30 min thing. It's random: could be 5 min, could be an hour. Bizarrely, it even restarts AFTER the normal 2-hour block ends.
2) Seems "most of you know" is wrong (unless you, like me, have kept quiet). Most don't know, I've found, having done extensive searches here and on the wider web.

I have been reluctant to bring it up, as 1) it is probably a zero-sum game and 2) I thought that Blizz might do something about it. Given that this has gone on for at least 10 months, I now assume Blizz has just left it as an Easter egg, or other metaphor. Or maybe it's more "Bigger-Fish-To-Fry"? Is that expression used in the UK/ANZ? They must be aware.

I can write a detailed guide with tips, and answer questions. Of course, the US community would also want to see. Would it be better for the Royal Lounge? Maybe moderators can advise. Mods, PM if you like.

Have you noticed this for every realm you tried? I have tried it on a number of servers and it has worked, but last one i tried on (moon guard) it did not work
